1991's Beauty and the Beast is a Disney classic. The animated movie about a girl falling in love with a prince who has been transformed into a hideous beast is a Golden Globe winner, an Academy Award winner, and was nominated for a Best Picture Oscar. But have you ever wondered what the movie would have been like if Belle, rather than being a pretty, bookish girl, was instead a pretty drag queen with a fair amount of attitude?
Honestly, we had never wondered that either, but apparently Micah McCain has spent a great deal of time pondering that question. So much time that he dubbed over the big opening number with just that thought in mind, and renamed it "Bonjour, Girl!" The only way to understand is to watch it. The lyrics are a little PG, but it should be safe for work, as long as work isn't a preschool.
