Scott McCall and his wolfpack are back in "Teen Wolf: The Movie." The highly-anticipated film - helmed by the show's original creator, Jeff Davis - hit Paramount+ on Jan. 26 - nearly six years after MTV's "Teen Wolf" series aired its finale in September 2017.
The new movie sees so many of the show's original cast members returning to reprise their roles, including Tyler Posey as Scott, Crystal Reed as Allison Argent, Tyler Hoechlin as Derek Hale, Holland Roden as Lydia Martin, and Colton Haynes as Jackson Whittemore. And if that wasn't exciting enough, the film also brings back cast members like Shelley Hennig as Malia Tate and Dylan Sprayberry as Liam Dunbar.
The last time we saw the cast, some of them were dating each other or other celebrities. Since it's been so long since you've probably checked everybody's social media pages for updates on their personal lives, you might...

Teen Wolf: The Movie is a movie directed by Russell Mulcahy starring Tyler Posey, Crystal Reed and Holland Roden.
This is a film produced by MTV especially oriented for teenagers and which features elements of recent successes and scenees from similar horror movies.
Enjoyable for its audiencde and intelligently “designed” (its production).
About the Movie
Films like Teen Wolf: The Movie, have their day. In mine we had the original Teen Wolf with Michael J. Fox and I enjoyed it equally with all its obvious lackings. It works for its audience and knows how to please its viewers, having done so generation after generation in MTV and in its speciality MTV is a master with plots that are especially thought out for segments of people in their twenties and with just enough complexity to not stand apart.
By the way, it is better if you saw the series before watching...

Arden Cho, who played Kira on the MTV series Teen Wolf but does not appear in the new sequel film, took to social media on the day of the movie’s Paramount+ release to give an update on her mind-set.
After a Twitter user posted Thursday that he was thinking of Cho that day because it was “probably a bit of a rough time for her,” the actress replied to seemingly assure fans she had no regrets about skipping director Russell Mulcahy’s Teen Wolf: The Movie, although she did not specifically mention the project by name.
“Don’t worry babies,” she tweeted. “Thanks for your support. Looking forward to better in 2023! Don’t be scared to walk away or turn down an opportunity if you know it’s not fair and it won’t make you happy! You deserve better. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise! Love you all,...

This article contains spoilers for Teen Wolf: The Movie.
TV cancellations are even more regular than a full moon these days, so there’s something to be said for Teen Wolf‘s almost animalistic tenacity. Hailing from the days when shows actually reached six seasons, MTV’s soft reboot of the ‘80s movie was canceled after a mammoth 100 episodes in 2017.
But like people always say, you can’t keep a good lycanthrope down, because six years later, Scott McCall (Tyler Posey) and his pack are back with the first of what could be many Teen Wolf movies.
In fact, judging by how Teen Wolf: The Movie ends, it looks like creator Jeff Davis is counting on it.
How Does Crystal Return?

When Teen Wolf went off the air in 2017, Holland Roden and Shelley Hennig thought that was it for the franchise.
However, passionate fans called for a seventh season, urging MGM to step back into the iconic universe from the 2011-17 MTV hit.
While Roden didn't think the franchise would return in any capacity when the series wrapped, she knew the fanbase wanted it.
Speaking with TV Fanatic exclusively, Roden recalled going on social media following the finale and constantly being met with demands for a seventh season.
"There was not a day that passed that I didn't see 'Season Seven,' and I really appreciated that the fans were so committed to getting more Teen Wolf," the Lydia Martin actress shared, adding that people would also ask the premiere date for the season that was never ordered.

This Teen Wolf: The Movie review contains no spoilers.
Riddle me this: Is a Teen Wolf still a Teen Wolf when he becomes a full-grown “Man Wolf”?
That’s essentially the premise of Teen Wolf‘s comeback movie which brings Tyler Posey’s Scott McCall back on our screens for the first time since 2017.
Now in his mid-thirties, our not-so-Teen Wolf is still the Alpha, but Beacon Hills is no longer the place it once was. Fifteen years or so have passed since everyone last walked off together dramatically on the long-running MTV series. Jumping ahead to 2026, Scott’s pack has now been scattered by the years and circumstance — as well as real-life issues offscreen too.
That’s right. A lot of your faves are back, including some faces you might not be expecting, but there are a couple of key players missing, and the film does suffer a bit for it.

Plot: A full moon rises in Beacon Hills, and with it, a terrifying evil emerges. The wolves are howling again, calling for the return of banshees, werecoyotes, hellhounds, kitsunes, and every other shapeshifter in the night. But only a werewolf like Scott McCall (Tyler Posey), no longer a teenager yet still an alpha, can gather new allies and reunite trusted friends to fight back against what could be the most powerful and deadliest enemy they’ve ever faced.

One of the Hales whose involvement in the Teen Wolf revival movie coming to Paramount+ has been a question mark has signed on. Ian Bohen will be reprising the role he played in the original MTV series (2011-2017), Peter Hale, and Khylin Rhambo will also be back, as Mason Hewitt. While Tyler Hoechlin, who played Derek Hale, is not returning so far, Vince Mattis has been cast as his 15-year-old son Eli. Also joining the cast are Nobi Nakanishi as Deputy Ishida and Amy Lin Workman as Hikari Zhang. Production has started in Los Angeles. Teen Wolf The Movie was officially announced in February, at which time it was revealed that 12 cast members from the series would be reprising their roles: Tyler Posey as Scott McCall, Holland Roden as Lydia Martin, Shelley Hennig as Malia Tate, Crystal Reed as Allison Argent, Orny Adams as Coach Bobby Finstock, Linden Ashby as Sheriff Noah Stilinski,...

No Derek, no problem!
Paramount+ dropped a flurry of casting announcements for its in-production Teen Wolf Movie on Friday afternoon.
Of the announcements, the biggest shocker is that Derek Hale's son, Eli Hale, will be a part of the drama.
Vince Mattos has landed the role, but there's still no confirmation on whether Tyler Hoechlin will return.
Speaking of the Hale family, Ian Bohen has closed a deal to return as Peter Hale.
Bohen is currently starring opposite Hoechlin on Superman & Lois, and that might be the closest thing to a reunion between the two stars we'll be getting.
Khylin Rhambo is also returning as Mason Hewitt, while new cast members include Amy Lin Workman as Hikari Zhang and Nobi Nakanishi as Deputy Ishida.

Dylan O'Brien has confirmed the news Teen Wolf fans feared the most:
He will not be returning for the forthcoming Paramount+ movie follow-up.

“The show couldn’t be more dear to me. It was the first thing I ever did I and so many people there are extremely dear to me."

"We didn’t really know that it was happening and they kind of just threw it at us a little bit, which is fine because we all love the show," he added.

The cast of MTV's Teen Wolf assembled Friday as part of the network's new digital brand Reunions.
The event brought Tyler Posey (Scott McCall), Dylan O’Brien (Stiles Stilinski), and Holland Roden (Lydia Martin) back together.
They were joined by fellow Teen Wolf stars Orny Adams (Coach Finstock), Linden Ashby (Noah Stilinski), Ian Bohen (Peter Hale), Charlie Carver (Ethan), Max Carver (Aiden), Arden Cho (Kira Yukimura), Cody Christian (Theo Raeken), Shelley Hennig (Malia Tate), Melissa Ponzio (Melissa McCall), Khylin Rhambo (Mason Hewitt), and Dylan Sprayberry (Liam Dunbar) to talk about the beloved series.
While there was lots to talk about, the cast was asked to share what they took from the set when the series wrapped production, and well, we're a little surprised at what some of them got away with.
Ponzio revealed she asked the art department to print out a map of Beacon Hills, and they agreed to do so.
