Chefs Anne Burrell and Jeff Mauro are teaming up once again for “Worst Cooks in America: Love at First Bite.” The romantically themed Food Network will spotlight eligible singles specializing in the tastes of love and is set to premiere Aug. 6.
The eight-episode season will follow Burrell and Mauro as they lead their own team of chefs through a culinary bootcamp. But this time around, most of the challenges have to do with romance. Think French pastries, perfect date night cuisine and a series of dating-inspired challenges such as the Cupid Games, the Bagel-orette and the Inferno Zone. By the series’ end, the most improved chef will be awarded a $25,000 grand prize as well as bragging rights for their mentor.

★☆☆☆☆ What do you say about a film which is so inept that the experience of sitting through it is frankly excruciating. Tape 407 (2011), the new horror (and that word is used in its loosest sense) film by directors Dale Fabrigar and Everette Wallin and starring Abigail Schrader, Samantha Lester and James Lyon leaves you speechless with its banality.

Two casting news have come in for "Thor". Jaimie Alexander, the Jessi Xx of the "Kyle Xy" series, and Colm Feore, the First Gentleman Henry Taylor of the "24" series, have joined the cast ensemble of the Marvel Studios' comic book adaptation, The Hollywood Reporter has claimed.
25-year-old Alexander has been picked up to star as Sif. Her character is described to be a skilled Asgardian warrior who can fight as well as any man and is one of Thor's love interests. 51-year-old Feore, meanwhile, will be carrying out a villainous character. However, which baddie he will play is still kept as a secret.
"Thor" is an epic adventure that spans the Marvel Universe from present day Earth to the realm of Asgard. The story centers on Thor, a powerful but arrogant warrior, who is cast down to Earth and forced to live among humans after his reckless actions reignite an ancient war.

"24" Airs Monday Night at 9/8c on Fox Synopsis: Jack has to tell Chloe about his infection; Tony stages a bin Laden-esque message for his captive Muslim; Olivia Taylor gets involved with a shady man, asking him to do an equally shady thing; Henry Taylor gets transferred from the hospital to the White House. Review: Man, I hate to say it - but that was truly a horrific episode. It almost reached Season 6 levels of Suck. Here's 6 Reasons Why: 1. Jack's chronic pain may make for some good drama, but it's getting f*cking irritating. At this point Agent Walker is almost criminally incompetent to go into the field with an obviously dying man as her partner. Jack's sickness is distracting. 2. Olivia Taylor. Man, I hope she gets her comeuppance soon. 3. Aaron Pierce. Normally, I love this "24" staple, but all he's done this entire season is open up doors and give Olivia a shifty look. Where's...

Chicago – Fifty-seven years after the original cautionary tale became a sci-fi classic, director Scott Derrickson and stars Keanu Reeves and Jennifer Connelly are returning to the big screen with a remake of “The Day the Earth Stood Still”.
Never a studio to let a cross-marketing possibility pass it by, Fox has released the original classic on Blu-Ray in a special edition packed with informative and interesting special features. The jury may still be out on the critical and commercial success of the remake, but this special edition proves that the original still has dramatic power and an important place in film history.
To fully appreciate the significance of “The Day the Earth Stood Still”, one must place it in the context of when it was released. The tension of the nuclear world of the late ’40s and early ’50s led to a society of fear and paranoia. As made clear in the excellent special feature,...
