- Tim Luna started at the end of the 80s as a security, runner and lighting technician on film sets and worked as a production assistant on various film productions. Became assistant director for a short time in the early 90's. He then moved to the producing chair after retiring from the Berlin music scene as an active musician and worked in the music industry for 20 years as a producer and director for music videos. During this time, he also worked for various TV stations as producer and director in Germany and also produced commercials. - Founded 1996 the production company Cut and Run Production Bln. (together with director Andreas Marschall and especially for music videos) which he named after an Italian adventure-horror film of the same name. Many of the video clips were shot using Super 8, 16mm and Super 16 film stock.
- With his partner Marschall as director, he produced two independent feature films that have been released internationally. Tears of Kali (2004), for which he won a Silver Méliès for Best European Fantastic Film as producer, and the feature film Masks (2011), which was an homage to the Italian Giallo genre.
