Arden Myrin, who heavily recurred in the first season of Netflix’s hit original series Insatiable, has been upped to series regular for Season 2.
Myrin plays Regina Sinclair, a self-centered, trash-talking, ammoral pageant mom, with a thirst for power and a flair for the dramatic. She appeared in eight episodes in Season 1.
Insatiable centers on Patty (Debby Ryan). For years, she has been bullied, ignored, and underestimated by those around her because of her weight. But now that she finds herself suddenly thin, Patty is out for payback against anyone who has ever made her feel bad about herself. Bob Armstrong (Dallas Roberts), a disgraced attorney whose true passion is coaching beauty pageant contestant, is the only one who sees Patty’s potential, and takes her under his wing — first as a legal client, and then as a pageant contestant whom he coaches toward becoming the top pageant queen in the country.

'Something Wicked' is currently enjoying a shoot in Oregon under the directorial skills of Darin Scott, who has replaced Jay Lowi. So just who's in it then I hear you cry? Well we have Shantel VanSanten ('Final Destination: Death Trip'), ...

It's a story set in the Pacific Northwest, about a young man and the woman he loves. The boy must protect the girl from evil forces, and the title indicates that there might be something supernatural going on. No, it's not Twilight-- and I promise I was only partly trying to cash in on Twilight fever with that teaser. It's Something Wicked, a movie that sounds like some horror-supernatural hybrid and will be directed by Jay Lowi, who has made pretty much nothing at this point. Ok, he made the 2001 thriller Thriller, starring Rachael Leigh Cook and Jonathan Rhys Meyers, and Wild Things 3, and as far as I know, no one saw either of them. Either way, his next movie starts shooting in Oregon in January, and if he manages to cash it on the Twilight phenomenon, he'll probably be all the better for it.
