Chicago: Rebekah (Claire Holt) tries on dresses and remarks on today's generation dressing like prostitutes. She used to get funny looks back in the day when wearing trousers. Rebekah claims not to have lost the necklace, just that it's missing. Stefan's (Paul Wesley) sheepish look when she says it's lost, cos he took it and knows where it is. Rebekah can feel when Stefan lies. That's what he forgets at the end, that she knows if he's lying. Stefan mistakes Katherine for Elena (Nina Dobrev). At the Carol Lockwood (Susan Walters) founders party, Damon (Ian Somerhalder) comments how everyone brings chili, as will nine other people and that's what Elena's making too. Elena says she's not in denial and Damon tells her she's still wearing the necklace, a "reminder of your unbreakable bond to Stefan." Katherine demands to know Stefan's plan, which is to prevent Klaus (Joseph Morgan) from locating the necklace.

Katherine calls Damon (Ian Somerhalder) who tells her no one's even thought about her since she left. He's not giving up on Stefan (Paul Wesley). Katherine's trailing him and Klaus (Joseph Morgan) so she knows where they are. Katherine claims she's conflicted as she doesn't know whether she's looking out for Stefan or not. Stefan and Klaus are in Chicago. Stefan's blocked out his memories of being here in the '20's. Klaus comments prohibition was fun since "everything was off limits." Stefan has a flashback to his time in '20's Chicago and meets a blonde. Klaus is there to see his fave witch so she can help him with his hybrid dilemma. Elena (Nina Debrov) wakes to find Damon in her bed. Now who wouldn't want that! Damon: "You know you were dreaming about me;" which explains the drool on her face. He wants Elena to go to Chicago with him for Stefan,...

Every week The Vampire Diaries has moments that leave my jaw on the floor and this week is no exception with some brilliantly executed twists and revelations. This episode saw family bonds tested, secrets shared and one character being pushed to his limits and was coupled with the usual amount of snark and blood spilled. We're only 4 episodes in but season 3 continues to be highly entertaining whilst pushing all the story threads along with ease.
I will begin as the episode did with the Chicago portion of the episode which saw Stefan (Paul Wesley) attempting a diabolical plan which didn't really come together for him. Katherine (Nina Dobrev) warned him that despite his so called 'bad' status he really isn't cut out for that sort of thing and because diabolical plans are her favourite of course she wants in. Stefan of course likes to do things solo and so rebuffed the offer.

Mystic Falls’ teenage witch is coming back to The Vampire Diaries. In “Disturbing Behavior”, Kat Graham returns as Bonnie, just in time to start up a ghostly love triangle with Anna (Malese Jow). In this behind-the-scenes look at Episode 3.4, Julie Plec discusses the return of Anna to Tvd. Plec also elaborates on the growing relationship between Elena (Nina Dobrev) and Damon (Ian Somerhalder) in Stefan’s absence. Needless to say, once Delena does inevitably happen, Stefan will return. Let’s just see if he’ll be on the side of vampire brother-in-arms Klaus and roaring 20s lover Rebecca when he does. See what Plec has to say on this Thursday’s Tvd below: In Disturbing Behavior: Still in Chicago, Klaus (Joseph Morgan) uses Gloria (guest star Charmin Lee), a witch he knew long ago, to help him track down missing information that will explain why his plan isn’t working.

Okay, "Vampire Diaries" fans. We've had the whole weekend to recover from that emotional ripper of a season premiere. Is everyone okay? We're here if you need support. You don't have to go it alone.
Seriously. Our first prolonged glimpse at Stefan's (Paul Wesley) inner demons was unsettling, to say the very least. Not only has he fully given in to his blood addictions, but perhaps the most jarring scene was when he killed Damon's girlfriend Andie right in front of him, because that had nothing to do with his bloodlust. He didn't even feed on her. He just used her in his twisted game.
In this Thursday's episode, Klaus (Joseph Morgan) and Stefan will come upon Ray's wolfpack -- and Klaus will do his best to turn the entire pack into hybrids. Unfortunately, thanks to a tip from Tyler, Elena and Damon are hot on their trail.
