- The storyline from Y&R about his family being from New Orleans prior to the storm was true, they lived not far from the 17th Street Canal levee breach.
- Graduated from Jesuit High School, on Banks Street in New Orleans, from where Harry Connick Jr. also graduated.
- Lived in the greater New Orleans area called Lakeview and often visited the local school fair (St. Dominic's) when in town, prior to the storm.
- Before returning to the Young and The Restless in 1997, he was employed as a substitute teacher at a Los Angeles inner-city elementary school.
- Has a strong interest in genealogy. He's traced his family back to one couple in 1650, in France.
- At one time worked as a busboy at the Helmsley Palace Hotel in New York, USA. His boss was the infamous "Queen of Mean," Leona Helmsley.
- Has six brothers and two sisters.
- After graduating from university, he worked part-time as a lab technician at Ochsner Hospital (Jefferson, Louisiana, USA).
- In December 2018, he did the CN Tower's EdgeWalk in Toronto, Canada. An attraction where you circle the exposed top of the 356 meter high (1168 ft) CN Tower, hands-free and wearing a suit/harness.
- Christian is a great Shakespeare fan having studied extensively with Bobby Lewis from the Actor's Studio and Patsy Rodenburg from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London.
- You can't keep Christian off a stage when there is improv or stand up comedy to be done, having studied and performed at the Groundlings and IO West in Los Angeles and behind the mic at the legendary Ha Ha Comedy Club in North Hollywood. He is one half of a comedy duo called 'Unspeakable Acts" with fellow Young and the Restless alum Sean Carrigan.
