It was shortly after the theatrical release of Cocaine Bear that The Asylum teased they were working on a “mockbuster” titled Attack of the Meth Gator, which has now been shortened to simply Meth Gator. It’s finished, it’s coming soon, and the trailer has been unleashed today.
Meth Gator will release in a small handful of theaters as well as Digital on August 2.
Watch the retro grindhouse-style trailer for Meth Gator below.
The film will be playing in the following theaters:
Laemmle Glendale – Glendale, CA Hickory Ridge Cinemas – Brunswick, Oh Trylon Cinema – Minneapolis, Mn Film Noir Cinema – Brooklyn, NY Aurora Cineplex – Roswell, Ga
In the creature feature, “Police warn residents to refrain from flushing methamphetamine down the toilet to prevent “meth-gators.” In Sweet Water Point, Florida, they didn’t listen.”

From the creators of Sharknado comes Methgator, a new drug-fueled creature feature with its jaws set on Marvel’s foul-mouthed golden boys of summer, Deadpool & Wolverine. Courtesy of The Asylum, we’re pleased to share the exclusive first look at the brand-new Comic-Con poster for Methgator, which features the narcotic-driven reptile chowing down on Deadpool and Wolverine. I don’t know if they can quip their way out of this one.
In the vein of Elizabeth Banks’ Cocaine Bear, the official synopsis reads: “In a 2019 news bulletin, police warned residents to refrain from flushing methamphetamine down the toilet to prevent ‘meth-gators.’ Down in Sweet Water Point, Florida, they didn’t listen.” They never do. The film stars Robbie Rist (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles), Laronn Marzett (Birdie), Vanessa Tamayo (Monster Grizzly), and the one and only Patrick Labyorteaux, who played one of my favourite characters on Little House on the Prairie,...

Today, it's hard to remember the state of television when CBS' biggest procedural hit was just getting started. Since 2003, NCIS has been one of the most successful shows on the network, as well as compared to other popular shows. Now, with a handful of spinoffs and 21 seasons of the main show, it's too easy to forget its origins.
Many believe that NCIS began as a stand-alone series, but this is not true. Created by Donald P. Bellisario, the show began as a spinoff of the unfairly forgotten CBS legal drama series Jag.
When Did Jag End?
Jag, which stands for Judge Advocate General in the U.S. military, originated on NBC back in 1995. The show wasn't as big a hit as you might think, judging by the NCIS numbers, but the move to CBS kept the story afloat and even made it more interesting. All in all, the drama lasted...

Podcast producer Glisten+ (a portmanteau of “great” and “listen”) launched Tuesday with two initial programs, part of a larger slate of scripted fare that it plans to roll out in the coming months.
The first original series include the young adult-geared “Can’t Relax,” about a relaxation app that secretly places murderous messages into the brains of its teen listeners. The supernatural thriller features Olivia Trujillo (“For All Mankind”), Andre Robinson (“Cheaper by the Dozen”) and Patrick Labyorteaux (“NCIS”).
The other show is fantasy adventure “League of Wonder,” which follows a Yorkshire terrier who teams up with a rag-tag group of animal heroes to rescue Dorothy Gale and a pair of magical slippers. The show stars Donovan Patton (“Blue’s Clues), Makgotso M (“The Woman King”), Eric Petersen (“Kevin Can F**k Himself”) and Robbie Jarvis (“Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix”).

We asked for the return of short, stupid movies, and The Asylum answered. In light of Elizabeth Banks’ insane horror comedy Cocaine Bear, parody film distributor The Asylum has announced a follow-up film of sorts called Attack of the Meth Gator.
“Hold our bear… I mean, beer,” The Asylum tweeted, attaching a potential poster for the film. “Coming for your life this summer.”
Loosely based on a 2019 news article about police warning residents in Flordia to refrain from flushing methamphetamine down their toilets, the film stars Robbie Rist (Oliver from The Brady Bunch) and Patrick Labyorteaux (Little House on the Prairie). The film is set for release this summer.
Not much else is known about Attack of the Meth Gator, but if it’s to follow Cocaine Bear, you can expect an alligator to ingest a lot of meth and then kill people, which sounds pretty fun. The company assured...

NCIS: Los Angeles is literally in Harm’s way, with David James Elliott set to reprise his Jag role on the high-octane CBS drama.
TVLine has learned that Elliott will appear in multiple episodes as Navy Captain Harmon Rabb Jr., starting on Sunday, May 12 at 10/9c (aka the episode before the season finale).
In Elliott’s first episode, “The Guardian,” the NCIS team uncovers Isis sympathizers who are planning an attack on U.S. aircraft carriers. The terror threat will result in Callen (played by Chris O’Donnell) and Sam (LL Cool J) working directly with Rabb, now the...

Fans of the Jtu (Jag Television Universe) recently came closer than they know to having Harm and Mack back on their screens. The faithful should not, however, give up hope of seeing the Jag leads resurface on one of CBS’ NCIS series.
NCIS of course was spun off of Jag, in a two-part “backdoor pilot” that introduced Gibbs, Dinozzo, Abby and Ducky (played by Mark Harmon, Michael Weatherly, Pauley Perrette and David McCallum); watch a scene below. As recently as March, Jag vet John M. Jackson reprised his role as Rear Admiral “A.J.” Chegwidden on NCIS: Los Angeles (in...

What started out as a simple suicide investigation turned out to be far more than Team Gibbs expected on NCIS Season 15 Episode 12.
While not an in-depth study into or profound examination of the causes of suicide, the episode provided an interesting story that kept the theorizing going until the very end.
First off, I want to express my joy at the brief delightful appearance of Patrick Labyorteaux as Captain Bud Roberts, who last appeared in NCIS Season 14 Episode 1.
While his role in the story wasn't large, it still brings me pleasure to see continuity honored and a larger universe recognized. With the seemingly ever-growing television universe around NCIS, it's all too easy to forget that NCIS itself is a spinoff of Jag.
But back to the episode proper.

Why would someone who has it all take their own life?
That's the question that plagues the team on NCIS Season 15 Episode 12.
With the team trying to conclude whether there was foul play involved in the death, they interview friends and family of the deceased and even delve into the past.
With no clear reason for the deceased wanting to end her life, the team finds something that could help them prevent another death.
Patrick Labyorteaux is on board to guest as Jag Navy Captain Bud Roberts, who was close enough with the deceased to know whether she would take her own life.
The official teaser looks set to put a fun spin on things with some witty one-liners from Bishop thrown in for good measure.
Have a look at the full clip below and join us in the comments with your thoughts on it!

Hello, fellow NCIS fans, and welcome to the post-Tony Dinozzo era! I will be your reviewer this season, and I'm happy to be here! And I'm also happy to say that NCIS Season 14 Episode 1 did not disappoint me at all.
Plus, there were some nostalgic treats for long-time fans like me! So hang on to your hats, because here we go!
The cold open focusing on WIlmer Valderrama's Agent Nick Torres was interesting; we're used to seeing happy people going along and then having tragedy strike (as happened shortly thereafter with the Campbells), but here Torres, aka Miguel, quite neatly turned the hit attempt right back on the goon.
It quickly established Torres as a smart, skilled man with excellent situational awareness and a rather impressive physicality that reminded me of Ziva David's combat skills. His takedown of the two goons after he arrived in D.C. reinforced that assessment.

If NCIS had spent any sizable chunk of its Season 14 premiere lamenting the departure of longtime team member Tony Dinozzo, that would have been a dreary affair. Instead, the series smartly focused on his irreplaceable nature, literally, by picking up months later with Gibbs dismissing the eighth probie sent his way to fill the vacancy.
By coming at “the elephant in the room” from a different, bigger-picture angle, it lent that much more weight to the moment that eventually did arrive, where McGee, with a nudge from Bishop, acknowledged that his trouble settling in at Tony’s old desk has...

Fans of the 1990s’ Spider-Man: The Animated Series, rejoice - the stellar voice cast are teaming up for new show War Of The Rocketmen…
For children of the 1990s, and presumably those who parented children in the 1990s, and anyone who just loves a good superhero animation, Spider-Man: The Animated Series is swathed in good will and nostalgia.
The show, which serialised Spidey’s legacy in 30-minute chunks, was undeniably excellent. We recall a particularly brilliant arc about Morbius The Vampire.
The cast reunited for a panel at Stan Lee's Comikaze Expo over the weekend to discuss the show’s twentieth anniversary, and announce their new project.
"You are the current avatar of this Marvel deity. This is our Iliad. This is our Odyssey," recalled Spidey-voicing actor Christopher Daniel Barnes, speaking of the responsibility of the role. "It touches something universal in us. When you get the chance to...

“Do you think there’s ever been another movie like Heathers?” Winona Ryder asks in her tiny, forever-a-kid voice, and then listens quietly. She’s genuinely curious. Your brain races through the obvious choices. Mean Girls, Clueless, Jawbreaker—teen-girl comedies with a drop of caustic in their lip gloss. But in 25 years, no high school movie has ever come close to the bloodthirsty wit and sweet-faced nihilism of Heathers, the 1989 satire about an Ohio high school where suicide becomes a scrunchie-level fad. “I looove this movie—to the point where I talk about it like I’m not even in it,...

Adam Sandler's Happy Madison Productions is getting back into the remake game as they have reportedly landed a deal to produce Paramount's long-gestating remake of the '80s comedy classic Summer School. The project has been in development since 2005, believe it or not, with Transformers and Star Trek screenwriters Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci most recently taking a shot at a script. The last remake that Happy Madison set up was the prison football comedy The Longest Yard, which Sandler himself starred in. He is not expected to star in this movie, although he will be on board as a producer. According to THR, this was originally the brainchild of producer Jordan Kerner (The Mighty Ducks, The Smurfs), who wanted to change the teacher to be a real hard ass who ends up "squaring off against one mischievous student." That definitely doesn't seem to be keeping in spirit wiith the original,...

A navy commander, a technical advisor for a navy weapon being developed by a civillian company is discovered dead on the beach. They find info on the murder by use of a satellite. Gibbs: (Mark Harmon) posits Tony (Michael Weatherly) took " a wave for the team," i.e. stopped the Db from being made wet by a wave and thus preventing the loss of any forensics/vital evidence thus having to endure the eternal shame of having to wear one of Ducky's (David McCallum) "spare" overalls which were about two sizes too small!. Tony should write a letter according to the man at reception at the naval base. Gibbs pointing out Tony's wet clothes and referring to them as "shrinkage." More references to Tony needing a diet, (see later episodes still to come.) and exercising in the gym. Kate's (Sasha Alexander) reference to Tony's bars being non-nutritious and eating donuts.

The pilot of NCIS was written and filmed in such a way, that if you hadn't seen the introductory episodes, which were in season 8 of Jag (TV) then you wouldn't be missing out on anything, since everything was explained again and we got to meet the characters too, which was good since as I said in the later episodes, not everyone got an opportunity to watch the intro episodes. Also Kate (Sasha Alexander) wasn't in the intro episode either, so we didn't miss a thing there. The Pilot was thrilling and fast paced, if only they hadn't made small boo-boos like Gibbs (Mark Harmon) and Fornell (Joe Spano) not knowing each other here and then they do in later episodes where it's suggested they have a past, because of Gibbs' second ex-wife. For ten seasons, CBS chronicled the impeccably styled David James Elliott, Catherine Bell, Patrick Labyorteaux, John M. Jackson, Karri Turner as they loved, argued, pined, and applied the stipulations of the Uniform Code of Military Justice and international law. Canceled in 2005, it is the only television show thus far to have been officially endorsed by the Department of Defense, the United States Navy, and the United States Marine Corps. As a tribute to this fallen hero, we studied the Spring 2010 runways for signs of its influence. Below, some looks from Alexander Wang, Loewe, Jean Paul Gaultier, and Rag & Bone suitable for conducting a court-martial.
