Political activist and director. From 1980 to 1985 leading Bergen Rock
Club. Activist for youth self-organization. Worked for a period as
carpenter. Later he studied media and literature at the University of
Bergen and went into film-making in 1991 with the documentary:
Gjøkungen - about a house-squatters' movement in Bergen, Norway. In
1995 he presented the film Boomerang to the acclaim of both critics and
the public, although the film deals with the controversial topic of
police brutality.
