When he curls up inside the trunk of one of his many vintage Cadillacs each night, the night wind softly blowing through the old airplane hangar he uses as a garage and lulling him to sleep, soon-to-be former Tonight Show host Jay Leno has one thought lazing around in his head: "How can I make NBC regret their decision to give my show to Conan? How can I show them the unique brand of Leno comedy they'll be missing?" Then last week when Jimmy Kimmel posed as a reporter at a press conference with ABC executives, jokingly asking them about his show's fate and the possibility of Leno moving to ABC, it was like Leno was hit with a lightning bolt of pure inspiration. "I'll do the exact same thing that Kimmel did!" Leno thought, searching for the fake goatee he keeps in the glove compartment of...

Sarah Silverman's longtime friend Jon Hamm says the comedian is coping as well as can be expected after her recent breakup with Jimmy Kimmel. "She's doing great," the Emmy-nominated Hamm told People at Monday's Hollywood premiere of the second season of his acclaimed AMC series Mad Men. (The series resumes on the cable channel this Sunday, while the DVD set of the first season has just been released.) But, the actor added, "It's a tough time for everybody ... you know that's never easy when something like that happens." Hamm, 37, who has guest-starred on Comedy Central's The Sarah Silverman Program,

ABC's late-night comedian Jimmy Kimmel pretended to be a journalist as he "interviewed" ABC Entertainment President Steve McPherson Wednesday at the TV Critics Association's meeting with network brass. As reported by the Associated Press, the topic was the possibility of Jay Leno moving to ABC when Conan O'Brien takes over NBC's Tonight show in 2009. McPherson: "I can't believe they're going to let this guy go at the top of his game. ... If that happens, we'll look at it at the time and Jimmy will be involved in those discussions." Kimmel: "If anything were, God forbid, to happen ... would Ted Koppel get fired, or how would that work?" (Koppel left Nightline, the news program that airs opposite Leno's in 2005.) McPherson: "It would be doomsday for Ted." Kimmel: "If you were even to talk to Jay Leno, wouldn't that be like contract tampering? Wouldn't that be illegal? Couldn't you go to jail for that?" A moment later: "Are you at all afraid that if you do replace Jimmy Kimmel he might do something crazy to you or your car?" The interview over, McPherson praised Kimmel and said that his "show creatively is firing on all cylinders and we're hugely supportive of it."

For Sarah Silverman, this has been a week of good news and bad news. First, the bad: On Monday, it was reported, she and boyfriend of five years, Jimmy Kimmel broke up. Now, the good: On Thursday Silverman, 37, was one of those lucky enough to be nominated for an Emmy. But, now for the weird news: the TV Academy nod is linked to what she did on ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live!, an over-the-top music video in which she and the Sexiest Man Alive flaunted their (fictitious and funny) affair to Kimmel, all set to music in a ditty titled, "I'm

Comedienne Sarah Silverman has been given some good news in the wake of her split from U.S. TV star Jimmy Kimmel - the song she recorded to poke fun at her ex has been nominated for an Emmy.
A video accompanying Silverman's I'm F**king Matt Damon spoof aired on the late night host's fifth anniversary show earlier this year and immediately became an Internet sensation.
And now the song is up for an Outstanding Original Music + Lyrics Emmy.
In the song, Silverman boasted she no longer loved Kimmel after falling for movie star Damon, who appeared in the video.
Kimmel bounced back in a later episode of his show with an all-star video accompanying his spoof I'm F**king Ben Affleck.
The song will be up against The Most Beautiful Girl (In the Room) and Inner City Pressure, from cult comedy show Flight of the Conchords; and Sad Fitty Cent, from Fox's MADtv, among others. The Emmys will be handed out on 21 September.

Though Minnie Driver has expressed her wish not to know the gender of her child, a doctor revealed that very info during a recent medical exam. Still, the expectant actress, 38, insisted to her TV host on Tuesday night's Jimmy Kimmel Live!, "I don't know whether he said 'he' or 'she.' " How come? She was simply too busy concentrating on the doctor's comments about her cervix. The two friends who accompanied Driver to the examination did hear the doctor, however – and one pal is allegedly blackmailing Driver to buy him things so he won't spill the beans, she said. Though

Wild and wooly, there was little to love, but a lot to look forward to... A lot has happened in the past six months and while there may not have been very many good movies and there were plenty of bad ones there was much more to remember as well as a lot to look forward to. First off, the writers'strike was finally settled, but as we move into the second half of 2008 the actors are now threatening to shut down Hollywood with a strike of their own. We learned of a new kind of woman out in the wild and she is known as a "Twilight Mom", a term that proved it could wreck havoc on your server should you decide to bash any part of Stephenie Meyer's "Twilight" novels or the film based on said material. I wrote an article called "I Wanna Be a 'Twilight' Mom!

Well now, Wayne McClammy, the guy who co-created the videos for Jimmy Kimmel Live will get his very own movie. To his credit, it was the abuse of the videos and not their creativity that made them burn out so fast, so here's hoping McClammy's next inventive idea has a little more time to flourish.
He has sold his spec for and will direct the comedy Le Car, which The Hollywood Reporter says, "is designed to unspool as a 'found film' made in the 1980s about a group of CIA agents who try to foil a plot by an evil car aiming to detonate an H-bomb at the Winter Olympics in Lake Placid, N.Y." I like that very much.

Ellen DeGeneres did it again – claiming the title of outstanding talk-show host, for the fourth year in a row – at Friday night's 35th annual Daytime Emmy Awards, where a jubilant Tyra Banks and Rachael Ray also ended up in the winner's circle. "I never take this for granted," said DeGeneres, clutching her shiny statuette. "I know every single year people joke about it." Besides acknowledging her show staff and partner Portia de Rossi, DeGeneres also thanked her show's fans, "amazing, amazing people." In something of a surprise, however, instead of Ellen's winning a fifth consecutive Emmy as best talk

Edward Norton appeared in a hilarious The Incredible Hulk skit on national TV in America on Thursday night just days after reports suggested he'd pulled out of all promotional activities for the action film.
The actor has been noticeably absent from much of the movie's promotional projects, leaving talk show appearances to co-star Liv Tyler.
But the serious actor showed off his lighter side by appearing in a skit on Thursday's Jimmy Kimmel Live, in which he confronted his own Hulk in the shape of the talk show host's sidekick Guillermo.
As Norton attempted to conjure up The Hulk by creating a bathroom rage, Guillermo burst through a wall and confronted the actor with growls and screams.
Norton stayed in character as Dr. Bruce Banner and said, "The Hulk is like my inner beast of unstoppable rage... The Hulk is, like, 20 feet tall... Just cut it out.
"We have some serious work to do here; we're trying to resuscitate this franchise from the f**king cellar... so just shove off."
And when Guillermo's Hulk challenged Norton to a fight, the actor added, "Did you see f**king Fight Club? Do you know what I'd do to you, man?"
After kneeing Guillermo in the stomach and making him cry, Norton finished the skit by hugging his comedy partner, mumbling, "This is like my first big action movie and this is what I f**king get... This is not what I f**king signed up for."

Cheeky American Pie star Seann William Scott turned his brother into a laughing stock on U.S. national TV on Tuesday night when he recounted his sibling's sexual history during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!
The actor told Kimmel he had upset his brother Dave by telling the host he had had "sexual relations" with a porn star called Bridget The Midget on his last appearance on the show.
But he was remorseless as he staged a mocking apology.
Scott smirked, "I just want to say that Dave William Scott, who lives in Ramona, California - my brother - I promised you that I would never talk on national television about the fact that you had sexual relations with that little person porn star, Bridget The Midget.
"I will never talk about it again, Dave William Scott of Ramona, California. Nor will I ever say anything about how I watched you have sex with that girl in fifth grade every day for a year while I was in second grade."
The smiling star ended his `apology' by putting two thumbs up to the camera and saying, "I love you bro."
Scott admits the original prank was a big hit among his family and friends, but his mother was horrified.
He reveals, "She hasn't talked to me since and I actually told her not to watch the show because I said, 'I'm gonna talk about it again.'"

We haven’t heard much from the Pussycat Dolls after their smash hit and self-titled debut album came out and featured radio-friendly hits such as “Dontcha,” “Stick Wit U,” “Buttons,” and “Beep” way back in 2005. Since then, the girls have released hit after hit, and fans couldn’t wait for their sophomore album to come around. Due to the success of their debut album, the Dolls were able to tour the world, and come 2007, Pdc lead singer Nicole Scherzinger was given a chance to go solo as an artist. She was able to release singles “Whatever You Like” and the more popular “Baby Love,” but was never able to release a full length album. To this date, her official website says that the album, entitled “Her Name is Nicole,” is “coming soon.”
Nonetheless, fans mustn’t worry because they’ll be seeing more of Nicole Scherzinger and the rest of

Comedienne Sarah Silverman has vowed never to marry her longtime boyfriend Jimmy Kimmel - because their relationship is perfect as it is.
The 37-year-old has been romantically involved with Kimmel, host of U.S. TV talk show Jimmy Kimmel Live, since 2002 - but she insists she has no plans to wed any time soon.
She tells People.com, "I'll be honest, we have it good. I don't want the government involved in our love.
"When my friends get married I think it's romantic, I cry, whatever. But it's not for me."
However, Silverman hasn't ruled out having children: "I might adopt, but we're going to wait. If you're going to have kids, you need to have time to give them undivided attention."
