- (1967) John Keston appeared on London's West End in the musical, "Sweet Charity", (opposite Juliet Prowse) in the role of "Vittorio Vidal", the Italian film star. This was the first West End production of Neil Simon's Broadway hit. Keston also appears on the original cast album of that West End production.
- (1968) He acted in Neil Simon and Cy Coleman's musical, "Sweet Charity", at the Prince of Wales Theatre in London, England with Gretchen Wyler, Rod McLennan, Paula Kelly and Josephine Blake in the cast. Bob Fosse was the director.
- (1974) John Keston appeared on Broadway in The Royal Shakespeare Theatre's revival of "Sherlock Holmes" from 1974 to 1976, as the character "Sir Edward Leighton", at the Broadhurst Theatre. The full title of this play is "Sherlock Holmes: Being a hitherto unpublished episode in the career of the great detective and showing his connection with the STRANGE CASE OF MISS FAULKNER". This play, co-written by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, was first produced on Broadway in 1899. The 1974 production marked the eighth time it was produced on Broadway. The artistic director was Trevor Nunn.
