Joyce Jillson was born on December 26, 1945 in Cranston, Rhode Island, USA. She was an actress, known for Superchick (1973), Peyton Place (1964) and The Man from U.N.C.L.E. (1964). She was married to Joseph Gallagher. She died on October 1, 2004 in Los Angeles, California, USA.
Her daily astrology column appeared in nearly 200 newspapers, including
the New York Daily News and Los Angeles Times.
Was the official astrologer for 20th Century Fox Studios, consulting on
the best opening days for movies, including 1977's Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope (1977).
Attended Boston University on an opera scholarship and later moved to
New York to begin a stage career. After winning an award as outstanding
Broadway newcomer, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue a TV career.
In the 1980s she claimed to be Nancy Reagan's astrologer. The Reagans denied this and the White House Chief of Staff claimed she was making it up in a bid for publicity.
The fetching, vivacious blonde appeared on Broadway opposite Anthony Newley in
"The Roar of the Greasepaint...the Smell of the Crowd" during the
1964-1965 season and won a Theatre World Award for her work.
