When Colton Haynes first became engaged to Four Seasons artistic director Jeff Leatham, he wasn’t really excited to plan their wedding.
“I’d never been to a real wedding, so I kept saying I’d be fine getting married in a trailer in the sticks,” says the Arrow and Teen Wolf actor, whose wedding photos are exclusively featured in the current issue of People.
On the opposite end of the spectrum was Haynes’ groom, who plans events for a living.

“Legion” fans showed up in droves for FX’s Comic-Con panel Thursday evening, and even though production on Season 2 has yet to begin, the audience was treated to a number of new details.
First and foremost, the second season has received an expanded episode order from FX. Season 1 consisted of eight episodes, but the follow-up will feature 10. John Solberg, the network’s executive vice-president of communications, also announced production is slated to begin in early 2018.
Joining the existing cast will be a new face playing an existing villain. Said Taghmaoi (“Wonder Woman,” “Three Kings”) will play the Shadow King, also known as Amahl Farouk. Able to possess human bodies, the Shadow King is a being made of pure psychic energy which feasts on the hatred within humans. He (or it?) has already possessed Aubrey Plaza’s Lenny and Jemaine Clement’s Oliver, but now the three of them will form...

Premiering on Monday, June 19th as part of the 2017 Los Angeles Film Festival lineup is director Julius Ramsay’s intense and masterfully constructed thriller, Midnighters, which was penned by Julius’ brother, Alston Ramsay. The story follows a young couple, Lindsey (Alex Essoe) and Jeff (Dylan McTee), who accidentally hit a strange man on their way home from a New Year’s Eve party, only to discover their victim was headed to their abode. As it turns out, Lindsey’s sister Hannah (Perla Haney-Jardine), who recently came to stay with her family, had been mixed up in a rather serious predicament, and Hannah’s past is about to come crashing down on the trio in some rather horrendous ways.
Daily Dead recently spoke with Ramsay about his first time at the helm of a feature, how his prior industry experiences helped prepare him to take on directing Midnighters, working with his...

After the Season 3 premiere of Fear the Walking Dead, you might have thought that there was no place a character could possibly feel more insecure than the Ottos’ compound (at least short of, say, Negan’s Sanctuary on The Walking Dead). But in Sunday’s episode, Strand proved us all wrong by being made a “guest” at an even less safe haven — and reuniting with a foe whose comeback showrunner Dave Erickson foretold more than a year ago. How dire was the predicament in which the sly devil found himself? Let’s put it this way: If at the Otto...

A post shared by JeffLeatham (@jeffleatham) on May 27, 2017 at 2:45pm Pdt Back in March, Colton Haynes got engaged to Jeff Leatham when the floral designer proposed to the Teen Wolf actor with an elaborate fireworks display on the beach and a personalized video message from Cher. In other words, it was exactly the kind of romantic, over-the-top proposal most people can only dream of. Apparently it still wasn't enough for the adorable couple, however, because they just got engaged for the second time. Jeff shared a photo on Instagram on Saturday of him and Colton sharing a kiss by the pool, and both are rocking some serious bling. As it turns out, Colton decided to return the favor and propose right back to his fiancé. "I Said Yes !!!" Jeff excitedly captioned the shot. "Not a bad day when you find Your engagement ring in a glass of vintage #domperignon...

In the past I’ve mentioned some of what AfterShock Comics has been up to in my column here, but I haven’t talked about them as much as I should. I really haven’t been talking about the good work they’ve been doing. Having recently read World Reader #1, I decided I need to change that.
AfterShock Comics gets it.
I’ll explain. I was having lunch with Noah Sharma who writes over at Weekly Comic Book Review and AfterShock dominated the conversation. We talked about the different titles we’ve been enjoying like InSEXts, Animosity, Captain Kid, and World Reader. Well, the conversation actually started when I brought up how much I loved World Reader so let me backpedal a bit and talk about World Reader.
World Reader #1 hit the shelves on April 19th. It’s written by Jeff Loveness, drawn by Juan Doe and lettered by Rachel Deering.

Question: What can you tell us about Sara Ramirez returning to Grey’s Anatomy? —Gloria
Ausiello: I thought I might have an exciting update for you today, but, alas, there’s still no news on that front. My Callie scoop antennae experienced a bit of a jolt earlier this week when I heard through the grapevine that Grey’s is about to go into production on an episode set entirely onboard a commercial airliner as a crisis unfolds mid-flight.

iZombie, Lucifer, Preacher, Arrow, The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow, Supergirl and Gotham are apparently huge earners for Time Warner according to CEO Jeff Bewkes. Case in point, TNT just recently signed a deal to air Arrow reruns and will also be the basic cable home for the Dceu. In addition to the ongoing shows, upcoming programs slated to debut or film a pilot include Powerless (NBC), Black Lightning (Fox) ,Krypton (Syfy) and Scalped (Wgn). With Arrow set to hit the magic 100 episode number later this season, The CW's gamble back in 2012 on a C-list archer certainly appears to have paid off. Recently, At&T reached an agreement to purchase Time Warner for $85.4 billion. However, the deal has yet to be finalized and could face federal opposition. Knowing the Dctv shows alone bring in $1 billion in revenue certainly puts that figure into perspective. ...

The 1990s are Doctor Who's lost decade. Although the eponymous Timelord found a brief home with Paul McGann's American pilot in 1996, the revival was never picked up. So began an even longer winter on the long road to 2005's regeneration under Russell T. Davies with Christopher Eccleston. The rest, as they say, is history.

Let the Right One In started out as a vampire novel written by John Ajvide Lindqvist. This was a very different, unique, brilliant take on vampire lore, and the story has already been adapted twice as films. The first one was a wonderful Swedish film that came out in 2008, and the other was an Americanized take on the story called Let Me In, which was released in 2010.
About a year ago it was reported that A&E was developing the story into a TV series, but there hasn't been much news on the project since it was announced. Today we learned that TNT is in the process of developing a pilot for a potential series.
The original story is set in Sweden, and the U.S. film was set in New Mexico. This latest version will take place in Vermont, and this is the synopsis from the press release:

Kristine Froseth will play the central vampire, Eli, in Let The Right One In's TV adaptation...
Just a quick update, here. Back in August, we heard that TNT is developing a TV show based on Let The Right One In, John Ajvide Lindqvist's novel that has already spawned two films and a theatre show.
Today, we've got some casting information for the series. Deadline reports that Kristine Froseth (a relative unknown, pictured above) has been cast as the female lead, Eli. Here's Deadline's character bio, which sticks close to the source material...
"Thin and pale, Eli’s actual age is unknown. Lonely and friendless (for obvious reasons), Eli lands in an apartment building in Vermont, and soon begins a strange friendship with Henry, an equally lonely 16-year-old boy who has no idea what kind of creature he’s dealing with.

In addition to working with M. Night Shyamalan on a new Tales From the Crypt TV series, TNT is looking to continue expanding their horror programming roster, as the network has now ordered a pilot episode for the TV series Let The Right One In, based on John Ajvide Lindqvist’s vampiric novel of the same name.
Press Release (via TheFutonCritic.com): TNT, a division of Turner, has ordered a pilot for Let The Right One In, based on the best-selling novel by Swedish author John Ajvide Lindqvist. Jeff Davis (Criminal Minds, Teen Wolf) wrote the script for the pilot and serves as executive producer with Marty Adelstein (Aquarius, Prison Break, Teen Wolf) and Becky Clements (Aquarius, Last Man Standing) of Tomorrow Studios and Simon Oakes (Women in Black, Let Me In) of Hammer Films. Carl Molinder, who produced the original screenplay, and Alex Brunner (Dark Places) also serve as executive producers.

“Let the Right One In” has, in less than a decade, become a cult classic and inspired a well-received American remake. It’ll next make the transition to television courtesy of TNT, as the network has ordered that a pilot be made so that vampire-obsessed viewers can sate their bloodthirst.

“Teen Wolf” showrunner Jeff Davis is writing the series, whose origins date back to Swedish author John Ajvide Lindqvist’s best-seller. The story concerns a young vampire and her neighbor, albeit in a much less fantastical setting than most Dracula-inspired fare. Tomas Alfredson (who went on to make “Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy”) directed the original film, with Matt Reeves helming the English-language remake. According to a statement from Sarah Aubrey, TNT’s executive vice president of original programming, this new series is a reimagining of the novel rather than either film.

What’s the opposite of the Welcome Wagon? The Get Out Jalopy? The See Ya Subaru? The Hasta la Vista Haycart? Because that’s what greets Juliette when she (finally!) returns to town in this week’s Nashville. Even worse, a red-eyed, out-of-empathy Avery is behind the wheel.
The old Juliette might’ve reacted to this rebuff in a number of ways. She could’ve fired him… then fired whatever employee of hers pointed out that Avery wasn’t on her payroll. She could’ve run out and slept with the closest, least appropriate person in the immediate vicinity. (Rip,...

This week on Survivor, everybody almost died. After a brutal challenge in scorching 118 degree Cambodian heat, three contestants zonked out from heatstroke, and Caleb took a (Russell) Swan dive that ended with a medevac.
It's really the humidity that kills you.
The Fishy Award goes to Dr. Joe. He stayed calm, cool, and collective while the entire cast twitched and foamed at the mouth like they were extras on The Walking Dead. First Debbie went loopy, then Caleb collapsed and Cydney broke down. Dr. Joe had ice packs, water bottles, and battlefield wisdom for them all. (Though for some reason,...

The Walking Dead, Season 6, Episode 6, “Always Accountable”
Written by Heather Bellson
Directed by Jeffrey F. January
Airs Sundays at 9pm (Et) on AMC
“Always Accountable” is a change from the tone of the first half of season six, while continuing to chronicle how Rick’s group are dealing with the feces hitting the fan. Oddly enough, we also get a taste of major events to come in future seasons. It’s a damn fine spoonful of chaos that’s yet to rear its ugly head. There is so much foreshadowing in this episode, it pretty much exists as a sign post of a larger path our characters are about to walk down.
That said, “Always Accountable” is very reminiscent of the season five episode “Consumed,” in which we garnered some insight into two really good characters. We’re in good company, as Norman Reedus is still compelling as the flawed anti-hero Daryl,...
