- Known as "Wild" Bill Irwin, he has competed in professional wrestling for over 20 years. His late brother, Scott Irwin was an extensive tag team partner for him in the early to mid 80's. He is widely popular in Texas to dedicated wrestling fans. In 1993, he went to the WWF known as "The Goon", a hockey thug, but the character was unsuccessful. Recently he returned to the WWF at Wrestlemania X-7 to reprise his role as the Goon for a gimmick battle royal. - Teamed with his brother, Scott "Hog" Irwin, as the Longriders in the AWA. Left the AWA when Scott died of a brain aneurysm in 1987. Reappeared two years later on NWA World Championship Wrestling.
- Bill and his brother Scott once wrestled under masks in World Class Championship Wrestling in Texas and where knows as The Super Destroyers. After unmasking they were then known as The Long Riders.
