Actor Matthew Lawrence opened the April 28 episode of his Brotherly Love podcast on a serious note, reflecting on the #MeToo movement and his own experience with sexual harassment in Hollywood.
On the show, co-hosted by his brothers, fellow actors Joey and Andrew Lawrence, the 43-year-old actor recounts his experience refusing to engage with a director involved with a Marvel project, who asked Lawrence to take his clothes off during a meeting.
“There’s been many times in my life where I’ve been propositioned to get a huge role,” Lawrence says on the podcast. “I lost my agency because I went to the hotel room” where, the actor alleges, a prominent director “showed up in his robe, asked me to take my clothes off, said he needed to take Polaroids of me and said if I did X, Y and Z, I would be the next Marvel character.”

Aloha, Spooky Nerds!
It’s been another couple of strange days in which the paranormal has punctuated the news. But why are the topics of ghosts, monsters, aliens, “meat rain” (more on that below), and other phenomena that could be flippantly dismissed as tabloid site fodder given a home on Den of Geek, an entertainment news outlet? Why, for instance, would we dedicate our energy to the weekly paranormal pop culture Talking Strange podcast and video series hosted by yours truly, and available on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and YouTube?
On one hand, belief in the unexplained is on the rise as religious affiliation decreases, The New York Times reported last October. Meanwhile, anthropologist Jack Hunter recently said in a virtual talk at Harvard that there is academic value in exploring complex “supernormal” experiences. From my perspective as a journalist, I have always found that paranormal stories, and the discussion of what’s “out there,...

If you hate Noah, then there's a good chance The Affair Season 5 Episode 3 was right up your alley.
It's almost like we're supposed to feel sorry for him during The Affair Season 5. Are we to care that he's being redeemed?
It sure seems that way!
Bringing the two distinctly different versions of events back was the best foot forward. The Affair works best when we're questioning which of the characters at the wheel are telling fibs or just overreacting.
Given that months have passed since The Affair Season 5 Episode 2, it made sense that the characters would be in different places in life.
Helen was getting closer to Sasha, and Noah was trying to wrap his head around the fact that Helen was already starting the process of moving on with Sasha.
It's not easy to see why Noah would be mad, but he needs to remember that Helen is under...

This week on The Affair, Noah and Sasha butt heads, as Helen gets close to the actor who portrays her ex-husband. Meanwhile, Cole and Alison (sort of) turn up in the future timeline.
Part One: Noah | At Compton Academy, Noah is being interviewed by Vanity Fair reporter Petra Ranes (The Blacklist‘s Mozhan Marnó). The interview comes ahead of the release of his latest book, an autobiography on Jack Hunter, which he wrote during his stint in prison. Petra intends to frame the piece as a redemption story, but Noah isn’t so sure that his journey has come full circle just yet.
