- Former child actor, famed for patenting his own version and making extensive use of the "BLASTER BEAM", a unique musical instrument consisting of an 18-foot metal beam strung with 2 dozen strings and massive pickups. Played by striking the wires with metallic objects, mallets, and even artillery shell casings. It was first heard in Star Trek: The Motion Picture (1979) as the distinctive metallic bass notes associated with "V'ger". It went on to become a staple of science fiction film scores in the 1980s through 2020 (such as 2010 (1984) and Alien 3 (1992)). Father of singer/actress/Co-Producer Fiona Huxley.
