Stars: Rachel Nichols, Laura Harring, Stany Coppet, Andrea Tivadar, Richard Felix, Craig Stevenson, Maarten Swaan, Steve Howard, David Chevers | Written by Jaume Balagueró, Alexandre Bustillo , Manu Díez | Directed by Miguel Ángel Vivas
After surviving a car crash in which her husband was killed months earlier, Alysson Paradis (Rachel Nichols) is living at home alone, its Christmas eve and she is now in the third trimester of pregnancy. When a woman knocks at the door, asking to use the phone, she refuses because she doesn’t want to wake her husband. When the woman confirms that she knows that Alysson is alone and demands to come into the house, she calls the police. By the time they arrive, the woman has gone. After checking the area they advise that it is unlikely that she will come back, but a patrol car will return later to make sure she is ok.

We've covered "The Line It Is Drawn" columns before. Comic Book Resource will post a mashup question to Twitter, take suggestions from fans and followers, and have artists interpret the suggestions as pages from a comic book.
One of those mashups was to blend Stephen King stories with comic characters and the results are pretty awesome as you might imagine.
The Joker as It by Phillip Sevy
Deadpool in The Shining by Marco D'Alfonso
Mouse Guard and Pet Semetary by Sean MacFarland
Wonder Woman in The Langoliers by Steve Howard
Red Skull in "Apt Pupil" by Nick Perks
Harley and the Joker in Misery by Axel Medellin
Scarecrow in Children of the Corn by Michael Magtanong

Chelsea face Leicester in the quarter finals of the Fa Cup this afternoon at Stamford Bridge. Kick-off time is at 2.05pm and the match is being screened live in the UK on Espn.
Interim boss Roberto Di Matteo believes that captain John Terry and David Luiz will be fit to play for Chelsea today and partner the center of defence. Both came out of the midweek Champions League victory over Napoli with knocks, Terry being substituted in extra time and Luiz finishing the game with an ankle knock. Gary Cahill will be waiting in the wings should either man fail to be fit.
Di Matteo has hinted that he will make several changes to the side today after the exhausting match midweek. Raul Meireles looks certain to play as he is now available domestically after suspension.

The cheap furniture giant's products are getting more stable, and they are now making more from less.
Everyone's favorite Swedish furniture superstore is among the best places to buy cheap, easy-to-assemble furniture. But the company's products aren't built to last--just think a about the amount of splintered Ikea furniture that is tossed on the side of city streets every day. That's the challenge facing Steve Howard, Ikea's newly initiated COO of sustainability: Can a company that makes easily disposable goods ever be truly responsible?
We asked Howard, the former CEO of The Climate Group who joined Ikea in January 2011, about why the company's products aren't simply another symptom of our disposable and wasteful culture. According to Howard, buying a piece of Ikea furniture (say, the Lack coffee table) often makes more sense than buying a pricier alternative. "If a product isn't handled carefully, then it doesn't last as long," Howard acknowledges.

Being in IMDb’s Worst Movie of All-Time (Troll 2) hasn’t hurt actor-now-director Michael Stephenson. He found it cathartic to tell that tale in the horror documentary Best Worst Movie and now he’s latched onto Destroy, a new dark comedy with Black Swan producer, Jennifer Roth.
Here’s the press release: “Magic Stone Productions announced today it has acquired and will produce the feature film Destroy. Michael Paul Stephenson (Best Worst Movie) will direct this fast-paced dark comedy. In Destroy, vampires don’t exist, but that doesn’t stop well-intentioned would-be vampire hunter Steve Howard from leaving a trail of blood-splattered wooden stakes across Bavaria. While he thinks he’s saving the world, he and new assistant Elise are mistakenly murdering sweet, innocent old men.
Destroy’s tone lands it somewhere between ’80s genre classics like An American Werewolf in London and contemporary comedies like Shaun of the Dead.

Michael Stephenson, that child star of Troll 2 who directed one of the best documentaries I've seen in years, Best Worst Movie, has announced he will direct his first feature film. It's called Destroy, and it's about a world where vampires Don't exist, but that doesn't stop a would-be vampire hunter named Steve Howard from leaving a trail of blood-splattered wooden staked victims across Bavaria.
Styd, who reported the news, say that Destroy's tone "lands it somewhere between '80s genre classics like An American Werewolf in London and contemporary comedies like Shaun of the Dead." To me it sounds like Bill Paxton's directorial debut Frailty about a father who is convinced there are demons in the world and takes his two young boys on a killing spree. Good flick.

Troll 2 Star To Helm Destroy
Some might know Michael Stephenson as the child star of film disaster Troll 2, possibly one of the worst movies ever made. So bad, in fact, that it has a cult following and has spawned a documentary by Stephenson called Best Worst Movie. Now Stephenson is helming his own dark comedy called Destroy, with producer Jennifer Roth of Black Swan in line to co-produce. Destroy has vampires, or at least a vampire-killer, so it should easily find an audience among today’s rabid vampire fans. The main character Steve Howard, an ambitious vampire hunter, hails from New Jersey and goes on a quest to rid the world of the evil undead. The only problem is, there aren’t any vampires. As he stakes his way across Bavaria he leaves only the corpses of little old men behind.

As the Alamo Drafthouse brand has grown, we’ve had the pleasure of bringing some very unique individuals into the programming team. I met Lars Nilsen, for example, when he was working at Kinko’s near campus and soon found that he had a knowledge base of exploitation film that was unparalleled in the city, perhaps the universe. I later got to know former Alamo programming savant Kier-la Janisse at the 2002 Sitges Film Festival. We were both on vacation to absorb their comprehensive retrospective of Spaghetti Westerns (most of which were unfortunately Not subtitled in English). If you travel halfway across the globe for a movie nerd-cation, you’ve accomplished one of the unofficial Alamo programming office job requirements. We’ve been lucky enough to come across a handful of like-minded folks over the years who were so obsessive-compulsive in their love of movies, so rich in obscure knowledge that...

The official word just came across from The Hollywood Reporter, but we got the scoop on a fun story a little early, and here's why: Our pals from 'Best Worst Movie' have teamed up with the Alamo Drafthouse's Zack Carlson and Bryan Connolly ... and they're going to make a horror comedy called 'Destroy.' It's got (non-)vampires and elderly people and, well, let's just let Michael Stephenson (director and star of 'Best Worst Movie') and Zack explain this one.
Cinematical: Give us a brief-run down on what the flick is about, and tell us something especially unique that you won't tell other interviewers!
Zack Carlson: It's a dark comedy about a would-be vampire hunter named Steve Howard. He's really very good at what he does, but there's this one problem: vampires don't exist. So this well-intentioned...

Kiteboarder killed by sharks in Florida. Stephen Howard Schafer is the latest victim of a shark attack that occured while is was kiteboarding off South Florida's Stuart Beach on Thursday. According to ABC News, Howard was killed after he incurred in an unguarded section of the water off Stuart Beach, which is about 160 kilometers north of Miami, Florida.
Schafer, 38, is the first person to die in a shark attack in Florida in five years. Sources say that a lifeguard saw Schafer in distress in the water and went on a large surfboard to save Stephen. He brought him back to shore and rushed him to hospital but Stephen died soon after. Authorities are investigating what types of sharks killed him.
Yeah, I know, this has nothing to do with entertainment. However, I found the topic interesting, particularly since it has been five years since somebody died in a shark attack in so long.
