- TriviaThough Toots Hibbert is sometimes cited as the namesake of the Simpsons character Dr. Julius Hibbert, the Simpsons character was originally conceived in the script of "Bart the Daredevil" as a woman named "Julia Hibbert", and the name was derived from actress Julia Sweeney and her then husband, actor Stephen Hibbert. The 'King Toot's Music Store' that can be seen in various Simpsons episodes is a pun on King Tut, and is based on the joke that the horns the store sells 'toot' when played.
