- On June 26, 2010, married Silas Binkley, a Ph.D. candidate in Experiential Sustainability Education (ESE).
- Is guardian to a rescued wolf-dog named "Rontu" that she has raised from 4 weeks old. She and Rontu are a team and participate in animal-assisted therapy.
- Attended a modeling competition in NYC at age 14, hosted by the MAAI, where she won in the overall "Most Photogenic" category and placed first in the "Bathing Suit" category.
- Graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder on December 15, 2011 with her bachelors degree and with highest honors (Summa cum laude) in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, and Anthropology.
