- Knut Hartwig was born on September 16, 1891. He was an actor, known for Träumerei (1944), I'm for You, You're for Me (1934) and Palace Scandal (1948). He died on February 12, 1977.
- Bearded stage and screen character actor. Best known, from the 1950's, for his prolific voice-over work. Among others, he dubbed for actors Jack McGowran, John Fiedler, John Carradine, Alan Napier and Billy Bevan.
