General Hospital’s Kin Shriner (Scott Baldwin) has been a part of soap operas for decades. Kin has certainly seen his share of disappearing characters that return just as fast as they leave. However, Shriner recently discussed how long term character are being treated. Shriner also discusses his latest soap scenes.
General Hospital Spoilers – Scott Baldwin Has Been Mia For A While
Shriner has been playing Scott on and off since 1977. Scott has been on screen long term and then left only to come back later down the road.
Scott was also a character on Port Charles, a spinoff of General Hospital. Several other General Hospital characters appeared on Port Charles as well before it was canceled.
Scott was last seen in August when he helped the pharmacist that messed with Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) bipolar medications hide out from Sonny.

Having worked on soaps, General Hospital‘s Kin Shriner knows what it’s like for characters to seemingly disappear and return at the drop of a hat. The actor took to social media to talk about how soaps have recently been treating long-running characters. He also took the time to talk about his time on the show, including his most recent scenes.
Scott Has Currently Gone Missing From The Show
Shriner has played the character of Scott Baldwin for years on General Hospital. First appearing in 1977, he’s seen the character leave and return to the series quite a few times. At one point, he even returned to the character, not on the main show, but on the Port Charles spin-off.
Scott’s last appearance on the show was back in August. The character was asked to help Sonny’s pharmacist hide out until Jagger could have him arrested. During a confrontation with Jason,...

Kin Shriner’s General Hospital character has been known for coming and going over the years, but with Scott Mia in Port Charles, his portrayer is speaking out.
Where Is Scott?
Shriner has portrayed Scott for nearly five decades, dating back to the pre-Luke (ex-Anthony Geary) and Laura (Genie Francis) days, all the way up until the recent murder of Jagger (ex-Adam Harrington).
Read This: Here’s what’s coming up on Gh.
Scott was last seen on the August 16, 2024 episode when he was asked to deliver Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) sneaky pharmacist to Wyndemere in attempt to hide him out until Jagger could throw the mobster behind bars. But that plan went south as soon as Jason (Steve Burton) tracked down the pharmacist. Scott went running, and hasn’t been seen since.

In the 1950s daytime programming became extremely popular, with game shows and soap operas becoming a staple in American households. Although the Emmy Awards had been established in 1949, the categories were limited for the first few years, and performers from all genres, and from both daytime and nighttime programs, were lumped together in one or two acting categories, with daytime performers usually left out.
In 1962 Mary Stuart became the only soap opera actress nominated for a Primetime Emmy, for her role as Joanne Gardner on “Search for Tomorrow.” In 1968 a category for Best Achievement in Daytime Programming was attempted, but judges decided that no one was deserving. Outraged pioneers of the genre, such as writer Agnes Nixon and “General Hospital” star John Beradino, lobbied for recognition of daytime television. In 1972 the first Emmy Awards specifically honoring daytime programming were bestowed to “The Doctors” for Best Daytime Drama and to Mary Fickett...

It’s a road picture, a spy chase and an oddball romance all in one. A casual highway hitch-hike leads to intrigues with shady doctors, guided missile secrets and espionage intrigues. Possible escaped nut case Ruth Roman enlists nice guy Sterling Hayden’s help, and before you can say Alfred Hitchcock they’re handcuffed together and on the run. It’s a B-picture gem from the mid-fifties, all the more amusing for its awkwardness.

When it comes to Best Supporting Actor at the Daytime Emmys, it usually pays to bet on “General Hospital.” The ABC soap opera has won the category 11 times, far more than any other series, and this year “Gh” could have an overwhelming impact on the category as it accounts for 5 of the 10 pre-nominees in the race. The favorite to win with 12/5 odds is one of “Gh’s” past winners, Chad Duell. Do you agree with our predictions that he’s the front-runner?
Duell has played mob scion Michael Corinthos for eight years, since he assumed the role in 2010. Before him the role had been played by child actor Dylan Cash (2002-2008) and then as a young adult by Drew Garrett (2009-2010). Duell was also fairly young when he stepped into the role, so he earned three Daytime Emmy nominations for Best Younger Actor (2011-2012, 2014) before aging out of that category.

Balletic, stylized and rather aloof, MGM’s biggest musical for 1954 still has what musical lovers crave — good dancing, beautiful melodies and unabashed romantic sentiments. Savant has a bad tendency to fixate on the inconsistencies of its fantasy concept — in which God places an ideal Scottish village outside the limits of Time itself.

According IMDb Kelly Brook is "rumored" to be starring in the upcoming horror/comedy Burn Off. It could be bullpoop, but read the premise anyway: Burn Off tells the tale of Peter Hansen, a fit man who closely watches his weight like a stockbroker watches his stocks. He marries a fit woman who within a year becomes a fat woman. His desire for her and himself to become the perfect weight leads him to a diet drink called "Burn Off," which does and does not do what it advertises: the user loses weight but also loses all sense of reasoning. Peter doesn't know whether to blame the drink or himself for turning into a sadistic murderer and keeping his wife a prisoner in his basement.

The drink turns Peter into a sadistic murderer who keeps his wife a locked in the basement. No confirmation on what part Anna would play, but it seems likely that she'll end up imprisoned downstairs. At one point Larry Cohen was to direct, but we hear that they're hoping to get Rob Zombie to helm it. He's never done comedy before, but the man has a rapidly growing reputation as a horror director with a...
