Who Is Dillon Jordan? Producer Arrested for Prostitution Ring Has Litigious Past, Was Jailed in Cuba
Mark Ebner woke up on Friday and was startled to see news about Dillon Jordan, a 49-year-old movie producer who was arrested on charges that he had used his movie company as a front for a wide-ranging prostitution ring.
“It was like Christmas in July,” Ebner told Variety. “They finally got this guy.”
Ebner is a journalist who has written extensively about the underbelly of the entertainment industry on his website, HollywoodInterrupted.com. In 2009, he published a book called “Six Degrees of Paris Hilton,” and it originally had a chapter that was all about Jordan and his alleged work as a pimp. Ebner had gotten access to Jordan’s hard drive, which he said included chat logs that showed Jordan was involved in prostitution.
But Ebner said his publisher, Simon & Schuster, did not want to include the chapter. So Ebner decided to publish it on his website as a way to promote the book.

Alone and adrift, Mindy McCready seemed to have little concept of time in the blurry month following the apparent suicide of her boyfriend, songwriter David Wilson, on Jan. 13 at the lakefront home they shared in quiet Heber Springs, Ark. "She would call you at 2 in the morning and then would call you 20 minutes later and act like she hadn't spoken to you in a week," says a friend of the long-troubled country singer, who had left a court-ordered rehab facility after just one day on Feb. 7. She didn't talk much about her two sons, 10-month-old Zayne and 6-year-old Zander -...

Mindy McCready's final song "I'll See You Yesterday" has taken on a whole new tragic meaning. Though she had been pushing her friend Danno Hanks to create a video for the song to act as a suicide prevention PSA of sorts after the death of her producer and boyfriend David Wilson, Hanks realizes now she wanted him to make a suicide video for herself.
"Suddenly in the last four or five days [before her suicide] she started talking to me every day, and she urgently wanted to get this one song released, but to use it as an anti-suicide public service announcement," Hanks says, via Perez Hilton.
When Hanks asked McCready when she wanted him to air the video, which includes photos of her with Wilson, she told him, "You'll know when." A day after they talked on the phone, McCready committed suicide. She had made sure Danno had included a link to suicideispreventable.

Just a few days before Mindy’s death, she received court papers proposing her sons go live with her mother. Did her devastation contribute to her horrific suicide?
In an e-mail sent to her private investigator friend, obtained by People, country singer Mindy McCready had “lost all hope” after tragedy hit her. “The most important thing are my babies must come home,” Mindy, 37, wrote to close friend Danno Hanks.
The mother of two was found dead Feb. 17 after an apparently self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. The death took place in her home in Arkansas, the same place the body of her boyfriend David Wilson was found dead last month after he committed suicide.
On Feb. 6, Mindy’s two sons, Zander, 6, and Zayne, 9 months, were taken into foster care after she entered a treatment facility for a mental-health and alcohol-abuse evaluation. She was released after only two days. Mindy had...

One of the more puzzling aspects in Mindy McCready's apparent suicide is the death of her dog. Before allegedly taking her own life, McCready apparently also shot her pet, whom she shared with late boyfriend David Wilson before he passed away little over a month ago. But according to Mindy's close friend and private investigator Danno Hanks, the country singer's decision to take her dog's life was only fueled by her love for Wilson. "I'll tell you why she would have done it—if she did it—why she would have done it is...her discussions about leaving her life wasn't that she wanted to end her life but she wanted to join David and David loved that dog and so...

Mindy McCready's close friend, Danno Hanks, the private investigator who talked with her just days before her tragic suicide and recorded what would be her final interview, is opening up some more about the last days of the troubled singer. In part two of an exclusive interview with E! News, Hanks heavily criticized Dr. Drew Pinsky—who helped treat McCready for addiction on his VH1 show Celebrity Rehab—for failing to contact her in her time of need these last few weeks, particularly after the Jan. 13 suicide of her boyfriend, David Wilson. "She made a lot of money for Dr. Drew, being on that show," Hanks told E! News on Sunday. "I had his personal email, and when she started going through...

Days before her tragic death, Mindy McCready asked Danno Hanks, a private investigator, to put together a video for her. Hanks has worked with Mindy since her appearance on Dr. Drew's show. The country singer asked Hanks to work on a cover of "I'll See You Yesterday," a song written by Courtney Dashe and produced by David Wilson. Courtney, a big fan of Mindy's, is an up-and-coming singer and came to Mindy's concert and gave her a copy of her song. Hanks says the song helped Mindy deal with the loss of David. What does Tom Cruise have to do to catch a break? The toothy star has been behaving himself so well recently (he’s refrained jumping on any sofas), but his much talked about return to meaty drama in Valkyrie, the story of German Army Officers conspiring to assassinate Adolf Hitler in 1944 has suffered another setback. It’s the latest in a long line of problems for the Bryan Singer World War II film which has been plagued with production problems (German authorities refused permission to film in Germany as Cruise’s Scientology beliefs are deemed a cult there) but is definitely the oddest – a prop of Hitler’s globe has been reproduced without permission from the globe’s copyright owner. See – told you it was odd.
