Just curious.

I also find her character awful and annoying, and horribly ugly. She also looks really Asian to me. I keep thinking, how could she NOT be adopted? The parents aren't Asian.

Nothing against Asians, but bad casting choice - she can't act, and she's awful looking, and if her parents are white (they also did this with Bruce Willis' daughter in his last Die Hard flick, he had an Asian daughter, but he and his "wife" are white), I don't think his daughter should be Asian, for story continuity and believability.

I also think they were cheating on set, and most likely the cast and crew knew. Oh well, if he cheats on his wife, he'll cheat on JC too.
