MARGO HALL award-winning actor, director, playwright, and educator, has been a leading performer and director in the Bay Area for over 30 years. In 2018 she was awarded Jerry Friedman Lifetime Achievement Award by the San Francisco Theatre Bay Area Theatre Critics Circle. She was recently appointed the new Artistic Director of the Lorraine Hansberry Theater of San Francisco. The first female Artistic Director of the theatre named for the trailblazing Black female writer of A Raisin in The Sun. Hall's film credits include BLINDSPOTTING with Daveed Diggs, the Netflix film All Day and A Night, and Pixar's upcoming movie Soul as the voice of Aunt Melba.
