American Horror Story Roanoke is a credit to this show's renewed focus on story. Here's our spoiler-filled finale review...
This review contains spoilers.
See related Trespass Against Us trailer, with Michael Fassbender Justin Kurzel interview: Macbeth, Breaking Bad, Snowtown
Every time American Horror Story delves into a different genre of show, they've hit it dead on the nose every time. My Roanoke Nightmare was perfect; the reunion reality show was completely accurate even as it went off the rails. Chapter 10 bypasses both conceits by throwing a mixed bag of genres at the screen. The show's segments are, in no particular order, a true crime show, a series of YouTube videos, a confessional prime-time celebrity interview, and best of all, a ridiculous ghost-hunting show with a dead accurate presentation.
It's not just that the three shows (Crack'd, The Lana Winters Special, and Ghost Chasers) look right, they breathe...

[Spoiler Alert If You Haven't Watched The Season Finale Of American Horror Story: Asylum]
We’ve never seen anything quite like the 13 hours of American Horror Story: Asylum. Nuns. Aliens. Nazis. Anne Frank. Denture Christmas ornaments. Mutant Mark Consuelos. Chloe Sevigny sans legs. And it all culminated in an utterly satisfying and brilliant season finale. Lana (Sarah Paulson) became a Barbara Walters-esque media star while Jude (Jessica Lange) and Kit (Evan Peters) forged a surprising, almost-familial bond. EW chatted with co-creator Ryan Murphy about Ahs: Asylum for one final time and got a few more details about the third season.
Entertainment Weekly: First thing I wanna talk about is how incredibly brilliant...

[Spoiler Alert If You Haven't Seen The Latest American Horror Story: Asylum!!!]
We only have one more episode of American Horror Story: Asylum and the most recent, “Continuum,” certainly advanced the plot into surprising directions. Lana (Sarah Paulson) is now a published—and quite successful—author despite turning her back on her promise of taking down Briarcliff. Kit (Evan Peters) has had to raise his two children alone after Alma (Britne Oldford) killed Grace (Lizzie Brochere). And Jude (Jessica Lange) found herself falling further down the well into insanity. EW talked to co-creator Ryan Murphy about all these developments as well as next week’s finale which he says will leave only one character standing.

Given the hatred they encountered after the economic damage caused by her husband's Ponzi scheme, Ruth and Bernard Madoff contemplated a pill-induced suicide on Christmas Eve 2008, she tells 60 Minutes in an interview taped Oct. 6 and scheduled to air Sunday. The appearance marks the first time she has spoken publicly. "I don't know whose idea it was, but we decided to kill ourselves because it was so horrendous what was happening," says Ruth, 70, adding that she had sent jewelry worth millions to family members as she prepared for death. Raiding the home medicine cabinet and finding the Ambien and possibly Klonopin,...

In a statement to Entertainment Tonight, Jones, 46, says: "Several years ago I made an error in judgment by inviting the media into the most intimate area of my life. A month ago I filed for divorce.
