Renowned action director William Witney once called Graham--a stuntman
legendary for his fisticuffs--"the best screen brawler I've ever
used".
After he retired from the film industry in the late '60s, he moved to Scottsdale, AZ. In the early '70s he was appointed the first Commissioner of the newly formed Arizona Film Commission.
Although he had acted in literally dozens of westerns, Graham appeared only once on Gunsmoke, the longest running western in TV history.
