Gosh! It's about time they got someone else to write the screenplay. Steve Kloves completely killed Ron. Ron is this great, witty character in the books. In the films, however, Kloves makes him a bumbling idiot. By giving Ron's lines to Hermione, he is just furthering the view of Ron as some less important character. In the second movie, he gave Ron's explantion of mud-blood to Hermione. In the book, she was completely unfased because she did not know what it meant. It makes Ron seem less intelligent. It's not fair because all three of the main characters are equally intelligent when it comes to their individual talents. They balance each other out.
