Fredrik Glimskär
- Actor
Fredrik Glimskär grew up in the nice and quiet suburb of Bromma, west
of Stockholm. He is 3 years younger than his sister, Therése. He
attended Smedslättsskolan in 1992, the very same school once attended
by the three royal children of Swede; Victoria, Carl-Philip and
Madeleine. He became best friends with his class mate Jonathan. In 1995
he attended Ålstensskolan, another school in Bromma, from 1989-1992
attended by the Prince of Sweden, Carl-Philip. In 1995 a casting team
visited the school, and a lot of boys auditioned to get to play a part
in the Swedish movie of Lilla Jönssonligan och cornflakeskuppen (1996). Weeks after the audition, rumours
started to spread and it turned out that Fredrik Glimskär had got a
part in the film - all of his school mates were pretty excited.
In 1997, the same year he enrolled at Äppelviksskolan, one of Sweden's nicest schools, he got to play the role of Harry again, in the 2nd Lilla Jönssonligan movie. Some of the scenes were shot near Fredrik's first school, Smedslättsskolan. In fact, both the movies were shot in Bromma, where he grew up and the theatre in the first film, probably is one of the oldest in Sweden. It's called the Höglandsbiografen and is located next to another School in Bromma.
