An insider reported that Sweeney and Depp would be starring in Marc Webb’s new film Day Drinker. However, representatives of the Euphoria star have now confirmed that she would not be starring in the film.

Johnny Depp has responded to recent accusations from actress Lola Glaudini, who claimed the actor berated and mistreated her while filming a scene for the 2001 film Blow.
In a resurfaced episode of the Powerful Truth Angels podcast from Jan. 30, Glaudini recalled one scene where the film’s star Depp was doing a monologue and director Ted Demme (who died in 2002) instructed her to “burst out laughing” when he said a specific line.
“I hear the cue, and I go hahaha, I do a big laugh or whatever,” Glaudini said, noting that she did it for several takes. “Johnny Depp, when they say cut, walks over to me, comes up to me, sticks his finger in my face — and I’m in a bikini on the ground like this — and he comes over and he goes, ‘Who the fuck do you think you are? Well-versed in the modern period drama with a twist, director Yorgos Lanthimos (Dogtooth, The Favourite) had a simple edict for the costume design of Poor Things. As British costume designer Holly Waddington notes, “He didn’t want it to be like a period drama, he didn’t want it to be like a sci-fi film, and he didn’t want it to be too ‘fashiony.’ ” The result is Age of Innocence meets surrealism meets couture.
Adapted from Alasdair Gray’s novel, Searchlight’s Poor Things is a fantastical feminist fairy tale on steroids, where the character Bella Baxter (Emma Stone) is brought back to life with the brain of an inquisitive, no-holds-barred toddler by the Frankensteinish Dr. Godwin Baxter (Willem Dafoe). Set against a backdrop of London, Lisbon, Paris and Alexandria, the costumes support the narrative of a young woman’s social and sexual awakening.

The police procedural drama, Criminal Minds, which centers around a team of FBI profilers as they study the worst criminals the U.S. has to offer, dominated network television on CBS before it moved to the streaming service Paramount +, under its new name Criminal Minds: Evolution. Criminal Minds’ perfect mix of celebrity guest stars, and the show’s characters having strong chemistry kept fans hooked for 16 seasons.
However, all that success didn’t distract viewers from noticing the vast number of cast changes Criminal Minds has endured over the years. While almost all of the changes came as a shock, the reasoning behind some cast members’ departures differed vastly, with some leaving by force, some due to budget cuts, and others even choosing to leave for the sake of their sanity.

This article contains spoilers for Criminal Minds: Evolution episodes 1 and 2.
The CBS drama Criminal Minds debuted back in 2005 and lasted an incredible 15 seasons and 324 episodes. But despite its long run, it did have a few issues, which a new spinoff series on Paramount+ has now aimed to rectify. And while only three episodes of Criminal Minds: Evolution have debuted on the streaming platform, it’s safe to say that the crime drama is already better than its predecessor in one key aspect: its portrayal of mental health.
It’s unsurprising that a show that debuted 17 years ago didn’t have the best understanding of mental illnesses and shares some outdated views. But considering Criminal Minds hinges on the behavioral analysis of humans, you would expect it not to have as many toxic depictions of people with mental illnesses as it does and be unable to deal with the mental health of its own main characters.

A former Criminal Minds star will appear in an episode of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit that could pave the way for Rollins’ exit from the NBC procedural. According to Give Me My Remote, Lola Glaudini will guest-star in Svu’s November 3 episode, “Controlled Burn.” No character details have been revealed, but NBC has released a brief description of that episode: “Rollins [Kelli Giddish] investigates an assault by a masked man at an underground party. Benson [Mariska Hargitay] uncovers a suspect who may be valuable as a witness.” CinemaBlend notes that Rollins has been throwing herself into her work since being shot on the job — and speculates that the case in “Controlled Burn” may be one that “push[es] her over the edge.” Glaudini may be best known for playing Bau agent Elle Greenaway in the first two seasons of CBS’ Criminal Minds. Criminal Minds looks set to solve crimes all over again.
Less than a year after reports emerged that the revival of the beloved CBS drama was dead, we have an exciting update on the future.
Tanya Gills, Chief Programming Officer at ViacomCBS Streaming, told reporters Tuesday at the Television Critics Assoc. Winter Press Tour that, “We are still very much in development on Criminal Minds. We’ll have more to share soon on that, but it is alive and well.”
For months, a revival was rumored before Paramount+ placed a formal series order in February 2021.
In July of that year, hopes for the show to become a reality were dashed when series star Paget Brewster said in response to a fan that the project could be dead.
“Sadly, we think it’s dead,” the actress said.
“I’ll let you know if there is any progress, but it seems unlikely.

Paramount+ is still on track with its reboot of classic procedural Criminal Minds.
This comes despite reports last summer, stirred by comments by series star Paget Brewster, that the project might have been dead at the streamer.
Nicole Clemens, President, Paramount+ Original Scripted Series, said, “We are still very much in development on Criminal Minds. We’ll have more to share on that soon but it is alive and well.”
Clemens, who took on her new role at the streamer last summer, in addition to running Paramount Television Studios, said that the delay of the reboot was down to the executive shuffle at the company rather than anything to do with the project itself.
Paramount+ Renews ‘Seal Team’, ‘Mayor Of Kingstown’, ‘The Game’
Last February, the streamer revealed that it was bringing back the series, which ran for 15 seasons on CBS, with the team coming back together to investigate a single case over 10 episodes.

Paramount+’s planned revival of Criminal Minds may not come to pass after all, according to the series’ longtime star, Paget Brewster.

Paramount+ unveiled its plans to reinvigorate the Criminal Minds franchise on February 24.
The scripted revival was reportedly going to investigate a single case over the course of 10 episodes. Criminal Minds executive producer/showrunner Erica Messer was expected to lead its creative team.

Well, consider this a strange turn of events.
Months after the revival of Criminal Minds was officially ordered at Paramount+, we have an ominous new development.
Paget Brewster, who led the cast of the original series and was set to return for the streaming reboot, has revealed the show is probably "dead."

Come again?
The project officially nabbed a Paramount+ series order, and while details were scarce, it was revealed it would feature a mix of old and new cast members tackling a single case over ten episodes.
At the time, the news of the revival was a surprise, especially when you consider the original series wrapped after 15 seasons on CBS just a year before.

News of the revival so soon after the original series wrapped is somewhat surprising, but it is a huge series across the globe, and if the streamer is serious about expanding, this could be one of the best shows to do it with.
The CBS original series focused on a group of criminal profilers who work for the FBI as members of its Behavioral Analysis Unit using behavioral analysis and profiling to investigate crimes and find perpetrators.

Created by Jeff Davis, Criminal Minds aired on CBS for 15 seasons, from 2005 to 2020. It remains one of the most popular off-network titles on Netflix, which likely fueled the interest in a reboot by the ViacomCBS streamer.

After 15 seasons, CBS’s long-running procedural created by Jeff Davis is coming to an end. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, the gang at the Bau said farewell tonight with back-to-back episodes. Like many series, it ended with a gathering of the cast, glasses of champagne, and tearful speeches. But before they get to the goodbyes, Rossi (Joe Mantegna) and company had to hunt down one more psychopath before popping bottles and toasting the end of an era…and that psychopath was “The Chameleon.”
In the first episode of the two-parter, titled “Face Off,” our favorite Bau denizens are looking for the aforementioned “The Chameleon,” aka Everett Lynch (Michael Mosley), who has an affinity for cutting his victim’s faces off. Ray Donovan season 7 will stay in a New York frame of mind.
Ray Donovan is not the kind of guy you fire. More than a few of his friends have woken up to a dead body next to them, and even more than that count themselves lucky to wake up at all. Showtime knows this as Ray Donovan season 7 got the go-ahead, will according to Deadline.
The series, which stars Emmy and Golden Globe Award nominee Liev Schreiber as Ray Donovan, saw its setting change from Los Angeles to New York state in season 6. Season 7 will remain in New York.
Donovan moved to New York after his life was saved by a Staten Island cop named Mac, played by Domenick Lombardozzi. The former Boston mobster stayed for the pizza, and got friendly with media mogul Sam Winslow (Susan Sarandon), who wants Anita Novak (Lola Glaudini) to be the next mayor.

Ray Donovan is our working-class James Bond, all crisp shirts and well-tailored suits, straight whiskey and a baseball bat. However, the premiere of “Ray Donovan” Season 6 suggests a series well into its decline, one that transfers our antihero from Los Angeles to New York in an effort to reinvigorate the show’s scrappy energy.
While it’s risky to judge a season by the single episode available for review, the disappointment here is familiar. The herky-jerky flashback storyline that defined Season 5 was a clumsy mess that suggested the writers’ room relocated to an ayahuasca retreat. Those conceits have gratefully vanished, but now we’re left with Ray as a depressive thug who’s swapped his style for a baggy flannel shirt and a well-worn Yankees cap. And where’s the fun in that?

Men have it tough, don’t they? I mean they have to worry about married women they’ve engaged in inner-office affairs with ratting them out to the new boss. Some are forced to face the crushing existential crisis that comes with their failed pipe dreams of rock stardom revealing how they’re nothing but lowly private school music teachers who’ve accomplished nothing in their lives — including, apparently, educating the children in their class. And don’t get me started on the ones who must endure the untimely death of their wives and the inconvenience of then having to juggle alpha male status at work with fatherhood. Blech. Why can’t the world just let us be pricks spouting homophobic rhetoric to compensate for penis size like we were born to do?

The sunshine was sucked out of Ray's life when Abby died.
Or so we were led to believe when he attempted to commit suicide at the end of Ray Donovan Season 5.
It's no surprise that he survives the plunge as without the man himself, Ray Donovan Season 6 wouldn't have much meaning. So what lies ahead?
Judging only from the trailer, Ray heads to New York and lets himself go while going dark. Because you know, sunshine is in Los Angeles, and New York City is dark and gritty.
If you watch Ray Donovan online, you'll notice Ray finds himself right back where he started, and so do we, as very little seems to change with the series.

Showtime’s Ray Donovan returns for its sixth season on Sunday, October 28 at 9 pm Et/Pt, and judging by the trailer released today during the network’s TCA presentation, the Liev Schreiber fixer drama has lost none of its punch – or its Susan Sarandon, who is back as a series regular.

When Ray Donovan returns this fall, viewers will instantly learn that Liev Schreiber’s title character (totally unnecessary spoiler alert!) survived his suicidal plunge into New York’s East River. What the heck, Fitz?
Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. made yet another epic move on Friday’s all-new episode, when the brilliant engineer -- after spending the hour tracking down mind-bending answers about his fellow agents’ whereabouts -- decided to cryo-freeze himself for oh, just a few decades, in order to meet up with the rest of the S.H.I.E.L.D. team in the future.

The brotherly dynamic between the two fellow Brits has always been a fan favorite, and it truly got to shine in this episode, as Hunter witnessed...
