Almost seven years to the day since it began, we’re about to give a royal wave of farewell to Netflix drama The Crown, but series six might be its most eye-opening yet, as its first part (out on November 16) deals with the events surrounding the tragic death of Princess Diana.
Some critics’ hackles might be up already after the show previously attracted condemnation for historical inaccuracies, so it will be especially interesting to see how the show covers such an emotive and important event in royal history, and just where the story ends when the final episodes are released on 14th December.
Even so, many fans will be disappointed not to see more recent events get The Crown treatment, like that Prince Andrew interview and Harry and Meghan’s very public royal uncoupling, but is it so far beyond the realms of possibility that the show might have a...

The Baby is probably the weirdest show you’ll see in a long time. But anyone with a dark sense of humour, a stomach for gore and about four hours on their hands really should check out The Baby. Ostensibly a comedy horror, but also a family drama, a tragic love story, a nightmarish look at motherhood and a paranoid, supernatural parable (in eight handy 30 minute-or-less episodes), The Baby tells the story of Natasha (Michelle de Swarte), a woman with no kids, who is more than content to stay that way until a baby literally falls off a cliff and into her arms. This is no ordinary baby… it’s a killer baby! Or a certainly a sort of Final Destination-powers, Midwich Cuckoos-got-nothing-on-you infant who destroys anyone who tries to separate him from his chosen surrogate mother/victim by causing accidents or occasionally engaging in out-and-out mind control.

Is there more to this infant than meets the eye in the first season of The Baby TV show on HBO? Unfortunately, most of us do not live in Nielsen households. Because many viewers feel frustrated when their viewing habits and opinions aren't considered, we invite you to rate all of the first season episodes of The Baby here.

Motherhood — specifically early motherhood — is hell. It’s a concept that’s been depicted plenty of times in film and television over the decades, yet it still manages to be a topic rife with material for more. HBO’s new horror-comedy “The Baby” is the latest offering into that particular canon. As one character in “The Baby” explains, when it comes to raising a baby, “Well, no one really gets it, do they? Not unless they’re in it. In the house all day, no one to talk to. Scream, nap, eat, shit, repeat. It’s a lot.” This is after another character asks the lead whether she’s started hallucinating yet. No, not any of the expected supernatural hallucinations, but the typical motherhood hallucinations of killing your child for a little peace for once.
Naturally, as a horror-comedy, “The Baby” takes the motherhood-as-hell concept and stretches it out to...

"This isn't my baby, Ruth..." "Well... it is." Uh oh. HBO debuted the full-length official trailer for "this year's most terrifying new comedy - a horror thriller series from HBO titled The Baby, created by Lucy Gaymer & Sian Robins-Grace. This looks so twisted and freaky - I really like this kind of flip-it-upside-down concept. So many movies about how cute babies are and how it is not easy but ultimately rewarding to raise them - but this is like, what if a baby was evil?! Ha. When 38-year-old Natasha is unexpectedly landed with a baby, her life of doing what she wants, when she wants, dramatically implodes... "Where does it come from? What does it want? And what lengths will Natasha have to go to in order to get her life back? She doesn't want a baby. The baby wants her." It stars Michelle De Swarte as Natasha, Amira Ghazalla,...

Check out the trailer below.

"England will not want you." "I've always been unwanted..." Samuel Goldwyn Films has debuted an official Us trailer for an indie drama titled The Flood, which originally opened in the UK last summer. It will be available to watch on digital in the Us starting in early May. The film presents an intriguing, dramatic look at the challenges of immigration and the ongoing refugee crisis in Europe. The story follows a "hardened immigration officer" named Wendy, and an asylum seeker named Haile who has traveled great distances to reach the UK hoping to stay there. Lena Headey stars, joined by Ivanno Jeremiah playing Haile, and a cast including Iain Glen, Arsher Ali, Mandip Gill, Amira Ghazalla, Jack Gordon, and Christopher Sciueref. This looks like a compelling and gripping film about the times we live in with mass immigration worldwide. And a very powerful statement about refugees and why it's all...

"You understand, when you are trying to cross borders, the only people that will help you... are dangerous people." Curzon Cinemas in the UK has debuted an official trailer for a fascinating indie drama titled The Flood, from director Anthony Woodley. The film presents an intriguing, dramatic look at the challenges of immigration and the ongoing refugee crisis in Europe. The story follows a "hardened immigration officer" named Wendy, and an asylum seeker named Haile who has traveled great distances to reach the UK hoping to stay there. Lena Headey stars, with Ivanno Jeremiah playing Haile, and a cast including Iain Glen, Arsher Ali, Mandip Gill, Amira Ghazalla, Jack Gordon, and Christopher Sciueref. This looks so much more thought-provoking and compelling than you're probably expecting it to be, and doesn't seem to be pandering to any one audience. I recommend watching the trailer, it might convince you to see this film.
