Joe Gerety

Joe was born in Philadelphia and was raised by his grandmother Marie
and parents Henry & Dolores. The family moved when he was 1 year old to
South Jersey. Joe was the middle of 5 boys and was heavy set in his
early childhood and learned very quickly how to protect himself by
taking up weight training and boxing.
He attended High School at Williamstown High and moved around a lot
after-wards trying to find his true calling.
His many careers included bar-tending, bouncing, construction,
professional wrestling, Gym owner, Insurance sales, and finally in his
late 30's discovered acting and got his first professional contract on
stage at The Pennsyvania Rennaisance Faire in 1995.
His first break into film & television came in 1998 when he played FBI
Agent Sampers on Homicide Life On The Streets and a supporting role in
Girl Innterupted and Liberty Heights the same year.
He moved to LA in 2002 and had his first big break in 2006 playing
Agent Jack Parry in Live Free Or Die Hard.
Joe continues to train hard every day as an actor and uses his same
work ethic that he applied to his athleticism during his earlier years.
