Robert Gardner has been making top notch documentary films for over 20
years.
Recipient of an Academy Award Nomination for his first film,
The Courage to Care (1985),
Gardner has gone on to earn three National Emmy Awards, four regional
Emmys, a duPont award for excellence in broadcast journalism, honors
from the American Association for the Advancement of Science, and a
dozen more specialty awards.
Gardner and his family-run production company, Gardner Films, have
helmed a variety of television shows for The History Channel, including
the popular Barbarians (2004) series, as well as specials for PBS, NBC,
and The Discovery Channel.
