- He has led the rock and roll group Tav Falco's Panther Burns, founded in Memphis, Tennessee, but now based in Europe, since 1979. The group's musical styles have ranged from deconstructed rockabilly and country blues to Argentine tangos.
- Currently residing in Vienna, Austria, he is a student of tango dancing, choreographing his role as a background dancer in Dans Le Rouge du Couchant. Falco sang "Guarda Che Luna" during his short, credited cameo appearance in Sandor Soth's The Great Post Office Robbery.
