Kids say the darnedest things! Isn't that what Bill Cosby taught us back in the 1990s? Well, the legendary comedian was right, obviously, especially when it comes to memorable movie quotes. We wanted to take a look back through the decades at some of the most hilarious, touching, unforgettable lines said by kid characters (most are live-action, but there are a few animated characters too). We even asked some of our friends and readers what their favorites were and came up with this list of 25, but it just as easily could have been 50.
And if you notice we paid extra attention to the '80s and '90s, let's just say that's when many of us were growing up; we're sure younger (and older) readers could come up with an entirely different lineup of quotes. Feel free to share them in the comments!

RADiUS-twc snagged its fourth film at the Sundance Film Festival today, picking up all English speaking rights for economic documentary "Inequality For All." The company is planning a summer 2013 release for the film, which had its premiere on Saturday. Directed by Jacob Kornbluth, whose previous scripted features "Haiku Tunnel" and "The Best Thief in the World" both premiered at Sundance, "Inequality For All" explores economic imbalance and the widening income gap in America, with former Secretary of Labor Robert Reich serving as a guide to the issue's causes and consequences. The film was produced by Jen Chaiken and Sebastian Dungan of 72 Productions. Breaking: The Weinstein Company’s Radius-twc label has acquired Inequality For All, which is playing in the U.S. Competition at Sundance. It’s the fourth pickup in Park City for Radius, which overnight nailed down Lovelace starring Amanda Seyfried and also acquired Twenty Feet From Stardom and Concussion here. In Inequality, noted economic policy director Robert Reich distills the topic of widening income inequality and addresses the question of what effects this increasing gap has on our economy and our democracy. Inequality premiered Saturday at the Prospector Square Park Theatre and bidding went on all night with several suitors before TWC emerged in an exclusive negotiation this morning. The plan is to release the Jacob Kornbluth-directed pic in summer 2013. Producers are Jen Chaiken and Sebastian Dungan of 72 Productions. “Inequality For All left us speechless”, Radius co-presidents Tom Quinn and Jason Janego said. “We feel extremely proud and privileged to collaborate with Jacob,...

Kathryn Hahn is a very, very funny lady who has spiced up a string of rowdy, raunchy comedies, from playing a pregnant woman in Sacha Baron Cohen.s The Dictator to slinging used cars with the rest of the guys in The Goods. She.s long overdue for her own starring role, and writer-director Jill Soloway appears ready to give Hahn her first real shot. The redheaded comedian will topline Afternoon Delight, an independent film that Variety says will be written and directed by Soloway (making her directorial debut). The plot imagines Hahn as a bored housewife who looks for a way to inject a little surprise into her humdrum existence. The trade offers very little details beyond that, though it.s made clear that Sebastian Dungan and Jen Cjaiken will produce. What do we know about Soloway? The three-time Emmy nominee has written and produced for such award-winning programs...

- If it will bring the story to larger masses then I,m all for it, but I can't help but feel that dramaticizing the events that Ricki Stern and Anne Sundberg were able to skillfully document might be lsot in translation. Variety reports that the doc (one of my favorites at Sundance) based on the memoir of former Us Marine Captain Brian Steidle will be brought once again to the big screen via Jen Chaiken and Sebastian Dungan of 72 Prods. Pulitzer Prize winning journalist David Freed will adapt the story mostly from the novel version of The Devil Came on Horseback and borrow elements (I supposed) from the documentary film. Below is a description of the emotionally jarring documentary film that preemed this past summer.Using the exclusive photographs and first hand testimony of former U.S. Marine Captain Brian Steidle, The Devil Came On Horseback takes the viewer

NEW YORK -- The Devil Came on Horseback, U.S. Marine Brian Steidle's harrowing Darfur memoir that served as the basis for a 2007 documentary, will hit the big screen again as a narrative feature.
In a pre-strike deal, 72 Prods.' Jen Chaiken (My Flesh and Blood) and Sebastian Dungan (Transamerica) acquired rights to the nonfiction book and hired journalist David Freed to adapt the screenplay.
The 2007 memoir, co-written by Steidle and Gretchen Steidle Wallace, follows the former U.S. Marine Captain during his assignment as an official observer in Sudan. After being prevented from saving lives in the region, Steidle risked his life to smuggle photographs of the Darfur genocide to the New York Times.
Ricki Stern and Anne Sundberg's eponymous 2007 docu based on the book, which premiered at last year's Sundance Film Festival, was voted onto this year's documentary feature Oscar shortlist.
Dean Schramm of the Schramm Group repped Steidle, Steidle Wallace and Freed in their deals with 72 Prods.

Indie producers Jennifer Chaiken and Sebastian Dungan are teaming to form 72 Prods., a Los Angeles-based company that will focus on the acquisition and development of feature film projects.
Dungan, who produced last year's low-budget breakout "Transamerica", said the company will be unique because independent producers rarely fund development.
"The idea is to put together really good projects that down the line will attract money," he said. "(First-time) writers and directors are reluctant to go down the studio road because they end up in development hell. Instead, we become a one-stop shop. It's just us. We can make it happen, and quickly."
Added Chaiken, "I saw a need (because) writers and directors were so frustrated with taking projects to studios."
Chaiken ("My Flesh and Blood") and Dungan raised the seed money for 72 Prods. from a collection of individual investors, mostly from the Bay Area. The rolling fund will be used to develop five to 10 films per year with production budgets in the $5 million-$25 million range.
