- Ryan Drummond is an American actor, comedian, and singer. He is best known for being the original voice of the title character in Sega's Sonic the Hedgehog video game franchise from video game franchise from 1998 to 2004, and additionally voiced Knuckles the Echidna in Sonic Shuffle (2000) and Metal Sonic in Sonic Heroes (2003). Although he no longer voices Sonic in any official media (having since been succeeded by both Jason Griffith and Roger Craig Smith), Drummond would ultimately reprise the role in the fan-made audio series Sonic and Tails R (2020) in 2020.
