Customers of Comcast’s broadband product Xfinity Internet now have access to sports-centric streaming service Fubo on the company’s lased streaming boxes.
Starting Thursday, Comcast is pushing out the Fubo app to supported Xfinity Flex and Xumo Stream boxes, the company affirmed in a statement.
Fubo offers more than 400 sports, news, entertainment and lifestyle channels for slightly more than $80 per month plus taxes and fees. The channels include those offered by Fox Corporation, the Walt Disney Company, Paramount Global and Comcast’s NBC Universal, along with local broadcast stations and regional sports networks throughout the country.
For now, the app will be available only on Comcast boxes that are associated with its home broadband Internet service — meaning it isn’t being offered on Comcast’s Internet-connected X1 set-top boxes. Which makes some sense, since Fubo is...

It’s pilot season, which means your favorite out-of-work TV actors, actresses, creators and writers are getting a chance to return to the small screen once more.
Although we have yet to know what new series we’ll see next year, the networks have been busy selecting projects to consider for their schedules. So far, almost 100 scripts have been chosen, and audiences will only get to see a handful actually come to fruition.
Several are duds, but there are a few promising prospects that I hope network executives will keep around for the 2013-2014 season — even if it means they have to cancel old favorites to make room (just keep Parks and Recreation, Ok, NBC?).
Check out my choices for the best prospective pilots NBC and CBS have ordered, and come back tomorrow to see my picks for ABC and Fox:

Bad Ass Trailer, AC Bus Fight Video, Hitler’s Response. Craig Moss‘ Bad Ass (2012) teaser trailer stars Danny Trejo, Charles S. Dutton, Ron Perlman, Donzaleigh Abernathy, and David A. Arnold. Bad Ass‘ plot synopsis: “Decorated Vietnam hero Frank Vega returns home only to get shunned by society leaving him without a job or his high school sweetheart. It’s not until forty years later when an incident on a commuter bus (where he protects an elderly black man from a pair of skin heads) makes him a local hero where he’s suddenly celebrated once again. But his good fortune suddenly turns for the worse when his best friend Klondike is murdered and the police aren’t doing anything about it.”

The last episode of "As the World Turns" has aired. A lot of history, and I do mean a Lot, flashes before my eyes. The wonderful ending to a great piece of American drama that began on April 2, 1956, and was told through the day-to-day life of Dr. Bob Hughes. It was an ordinary day, but yet so surreal as this iconic show left the air, but left all the stories with happy endings. Lucinda [Elizabeth Hubbard, a seven-time Emmy nominee, two-time winner, and 10 soap opera digest nominations with four wins) finds happiness and gets the love of her estranged daughter, Lilly Snyder, back with the help of her long lost love, Dr. John Dixon (Larry...

If you followed Thursday's Liveblog you know that I missed the entire show due to local news idiots. Thanks to our soap guru Anthony Langford's video recaps I was able to get the gist of what happened.
Starting with the most unfortunate pop-up in history.
Then Reid has this chilling admission about his toothbrush "It was in the right slot facing right. I always keep it in the left slot facing left." You know, there's a fine line between "rigid and methodical" and ... Sleeping with the Enemy.
Reid and Luke have a hot moment, leading to ... could it be? Is this "the moment?" Wait a minute, what the !@#$% is that?
Aah! It's the cursed baby rattle! The last time we saw it was when Baby Sierra played with it after Fish won custody on One Life To Live.
And we all know what happened after that.
Someone needs to find it and kill it!

Chicago – The reboot of “Friday the 13th” was another financially successful notch in the belt of Platinum Dunes, the film company behind the remakes of “Texas Chainsaw Massacre,” “The Hitcher,” and “The Amityville Horror”. Making $90 million worldwide and more domestically than any previous Jason Voorhees movie (that didn’t include Freddy Krueger), “Friday the 13th” has a following that will be ecstatic with the excellent Blu-Ray release for the slasher title.
Blu-Ray Rating: 3.5/5.0 The Blu-Ray of “Friday the 13th” delivers everything fans could ask for. Not only do they present a longer and better cut of the film in the 9-minutes-longer “Extended Cut,” but the special features enhance the “Friday the 13th” experience and the technical transfer is nearly flawless.
