- Xavier Depraz was born on April 22, 1926 in Albert, Somme, France. He was an actor, known for The Man Who Laughs (1971), Les rois maudits (1972) and Le voyageur imprudent (1982). He died on October 18, 1994 in Saint-Étienne-de-Saint-Geoirs, Isère, France.
- Bass-baritone at the Opéras de Paris, he was part of the creation of Francis Poulenc and Georges Bernanos' Dialogues des carmélites. He was professor at the Conservatoire and became an actor, using his thunderous voice to great effect.
