Fox has given a pilot order to The Beast, a medical drama from former ER executive producer and practicing pediatrician Neal Baer. Fox has ordered to pilot medical procedural drama “The Beast.” Neal Baer and Dawn DeNoon are writing and executive producing the project, which follows three medical cases a week. In the end, two patients will live, one will die. Their doctor — with a clinical fear of death — never stops fighting the odds. Jessica Shulman will also serve as an executive producer.
