- Josie DeGuzman comes from a prominent Puerto Rican family. She attended Boston Conservatory of Music. She appeared in "Runaways" at Joseph Papp's Public Theatre and played Maria in the 1980 Broadway revival of "West Side Story". Other Broadway shows include "Carmelina" (1979, her Broadway debut) and as Sister Sara in the 1992 "Guys and Dolls" revival on Broadway.
