John Decker has over 23 years of experience in the visual effects industry, spanning feature films, television, commercials and video games.
John's recent credits include the acclaimed genre show "Marvel's Agents of SHIELD", where he helped create the cinematic outer space environments for humanity's dark future on-board the Lighthouse, and the savage alien Vrellnexians. He also supervised the development of an animal army that turn against humanity in the CBS summer show "Zoo", including a runaway elephant and a swarm of thousands of rats.
John began his visual effects career in 1994 at Dream Quest Images, before moving to Sony Pictures Imageworks where he worked on Godzilla and the Academy Award® nominated Starship Troopers. He later moved to R!OT Pictures where he contributed his artistic skills to Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, The X-Files and Smallville. Additional work includes designing the look of the battered and beaten robotic adversary for Will Smith in I,Robot. His video game credits include multiple titles of the Medal of Honor franchise, and the classic RTS Command & Conquer.
