Born Reginald DeNard Morton in Brooklyn, New York, Reggie's acting
experience began in a Brooklyn elementary school with ballet. This
course of action was taken by his mother to keep Reggie off the streets
and away from the clutches of gangs. Reggie is now a recognized and
respected actor whose work includes film, television, theater, radio,
music videos and commercials. He had acted in both off- and on-Broadway
plays before moving to Hollywood in the late 1970s to pursue a movie
career. He has been seen in the films Rogues (2003), Niche (2002), The Ice Cream Man (2002) and
Charmed Life (1997); the television shows Family Law (1999), The Andy Dick Show (2001) and Downtown (1999); and plays
such as "Look Back in Anger", "Tragedy of Othello" and "Short Eyes". In
addition to his acting roles he has worked behind the scenes as a
production assistant, driver, production coordinator, assistant to the
producer, first assistant director and casting director.
