- Spent three months in the northeastern Japanese city of Sendai teaching English at Tokiwagi Gakuen, an all-girls' highschool during the spring of 1997. After returning to the U.S., he wrote a one-man show entitled Island of Mirrors chronicling his adventures. A video version of the stage play has been filmed by British director Sophie Pegrum for Vision Box Picutres.
- Both he and his wife, Shari Cornish share many coincidences: Both have an oldest sister named Diane, they are both the youngest in their families and both have an uncle and an aunt named Tony and Carolyn.

- Cast in the role of baseball pioneer, Jackie Robinson in Mary Hall Surface's play, MVP. The play is being produced by the N. Carolina Stage Co. and will tour North Carolina schools until April 2004. (February 2004)
- Attending the River Run Film Festival premiere of his video-short, Island of Mirrors in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. (April 2004)
- Has been cast in the role of Freddy in the Highland Repertory's production of Steve Martin's play, 'Picasso', at the Lapin Agile in Asheville, North Carolina. (May 2003)
- Rehearsing the role of "Sam" in Athol Fugard's play, Master Harold...and the Boys" at the Unadilla Theater in East Calais, Vermont. (June 2005)
- Cast as the Skin Horse in Highland Repetory's production of James Still's adaptation of Margery Williams' childrens' book, The Velveteen Rabbit. Nov. 20-30 at the Diana Wortham Theater in Asheville, North Carolina. (November 2003)
- Since September 2004, he had been living in Hardwick, VT, with his wife, Shari, a surface-design artist.
- Has been cast in the role of Blepyrus in Highland Repetory Theater's production of Lysistrata (directed by Mia Self), Ashevillle, North Carolina. (March 2004)
- He died in his Hardwick home following a battle with cancer.
