Originally of Mongolian/Ukrainian descent, Nicholas Davidoff is a native of Hollywood, CA and a veteran of the TV and Film industry. After studying acting at the Lee Strasberg Institute and the Actors Circle Theater in Los Angeles, Nicholas discovered his true calling, as a storyteller working behind the camera. He went on to establish himself as a top industry camera and Steadicam operator, shooting such acclaimed shows as American Horror Story, True Blood, Bosch, Manhunt, Mr. Mercedes and twice nominated by the SOC for his outstanding achievement in camerawork for Homeland. He's also photographed feature films including The Expendables, The Twilight Saga, Never Back Down 2, Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D and Universal Soldier: Day of Reckoning. As an emerging writer/director, Nicholas has written several screenplays, two of which are in active development. He most recently wrote and directed the award winning short film "Disorder", a psychological drama which deals with the tribulations of childhood mental illness and is being developed as a feature film with Patriot Pictures. As a lifelong martial artist and MMA enthusiast, Nicholas combined his passion for the sport with his love of action/crime stories to create the film Vale Tudo, being produced with Rumble Riot Pictures.
