Mikhail Danilov started his acting career at the Pushkin Drama Theatre
in Leningrad (St. Petersburg).
From 1968-1991 Danilov was a permanent member of the legendary troupe
of Bolshoi Drama Theatre (BDT) in St. Petersburg (Leningrad) under
directorship of
Georgi Tovstonogov. Danilov worked with Tovstonogov for 30 years.
During that time Danilov worked with an outstanding ensemble of actors
at BDT.
He was designated the title of Honorable Artist of Russia.
