Nearly two years after Bob Saget’s untimely death, John Stamos is sharing one of the final photos of the two of them and their other Full House costars together. “One of the last pictures of all of us in San Fran in front of the iconic Painted Lady,” Stamos wrote on Instagram on Friday, captioning an Instagram photo of himself, Saget, Jodie Sweetin, Andrea Barber, Dave Coulier, and Candace Cameron Bure. In the pic, the costars are gathered on the front steps of 1709 Broderick Street in San Francisco, which served as the exterior for the Tanner house seen in the ABC sitcom and the Netflix reboot Fuller House. John Stamos has shared “one of the last” pictures of him and his fellow Fuller House castmates with the late Bob Saget.
In it, Saget and Stamos are seen smiling with costars Dave Coulier, Andrea Barber, Jodie Sweetin, and Candace Cameron Bure in front of the Tanner family home in San Francisco.
“One of the last pictures of all of us in San Fran in front of the iconic Painted Lady,” Stamos wrote in the caption.
The nostalgic image is arriving shortly before the second anniversary of Saget’s death at 65 in January 2022.
Stamos wrote about his friend in his new memoir, If You Would Have Told Me.
In the book, Stamos said that he is “still not ready to accept” that Saget is gone. “Not sure I ever will be,” he adds. “I try to imagine him still on the road, doing what he loves. He’s standing onstage,...

Not just a wonderful talent, but a truly wonderful person. I’m grateful not only to have worked with her, but to have been her friend.

“We’re not allowed to talk about Scrubs.” That was the consensus that co-stars Zach Braff and Donald Faison reached almost immediately during the Aug. 1 episode of their Scrubs rewatch podcast, Fake Doctors, Real Friends. The pair, like many actors with thriving audio platforms, had been unsure of how to approach their side gig during the SAG-AFTRA strike and initially segued into repeats. Not only is there the obvious fear of speaking out of turn during Hollywood’s labor crisis — see recent foot-in-mouth comments from Stephen Amell, Jamie Lee Curtis and Zachary Levi, each of whom immediately backpedaled — podcasting is proving to be a strike gray area despite the union clearing up guidelines. Mostly.

A new iteration of the Full House series was a brewing possibility when actor Bob Saget suddenly died in 2022. Jodie Sweetin, who played Stephanie Tanner, said despite the loss, the cast could reunite someday in some capacity.
“I don’t know that we’re done with the Full / Fuller legacy,” Sweetin said on the Behind the Velvet Rope with David Yontef podcast.
“But I do think it’s going to have to be some time from now after Bob,” she said. “I think that would be a big loss. I think, obviously it’s something that would, could be dealt with at some point.”
“But I do think that definitely is a big hole in all of our hearts right now, so we’ll see,” she added. “We always joke that we’re up for a Golden Girls-type version of Kimmy and Steph and DJ living somewhere in Miami wearing Mumus on the Lanai.

Sweet Magnolias so far is having a good run, with the third season out for fans of the three independent women living in Serenity, South Carolina, and how the town has shaped their personalities. The core theme of this romantic drama is the inherent goodness of not just the lead female protagonists but also the supporting characters. The writers of the show went out of their way to portray the whole town as a virtuous place, whose residents immediately come to help those in need. It made us wonder how the readers could explore more shows in the same genre, older and new ones, to understand the nuances of each show. A comparative article such as this will help the readers pick how most of them are either similar or different from Sweet Magnolias. Here’s a list:

“Full House” creator Jeff Franklin is going down memory lane on Dave Coulier‘s new series, “Full House Rewind”. Franklin appeared on the first episode of the PodCo series, where he and Coulier reminisced about the pilot episode of the popular family comedy, which starred the late Bob Saget, John Stamos, Coulier, Candace Cameron Bure, Jodie Sweetin, Mary-Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen.
During the episode, which Coulier dedicated to Saget, Franklin revealed Sweetin was the first actor cast on “Full House”. He shared that after they held the first cast table read, Stamos was ready to get off the show because he was concerned Sweetin and the younger actors would take the spotlight.
“I remembered our first table read,” Coulier said.
“Where there’s a room full of studio and network executives. They were all there to see Stamos, I think,” Franklin recalled.
“Jodie just stole the show,” Coulier remembered.

Jeff Franklin, the creator of Full House, is looking back at how the show began and recalled a moment when John Stamos almost backed out of the series.
The writer-producer-director appeared on the first episode of Dave Coulier’s new podcast, Full House Rewind, which they dedicated to the late Bob Saget.
While talking about the show’s first table read with the actors, Franklin noted that there was a “room full of studio and network executives and everybody who could possibly be there. They were all there to see Stamos, I think.”
But Franklin recalled that “Jodie [Sweetin] just stole the whole thing” with her humor, which he said left Stamos upset because he was afraid the younger stars were going to steal the spotlight.
Coulier chimed in and said he remembers “walking out with John” afterward when the Scream Queens actor told him, “The whole show’s gonna be her.

John Stamos faced the intensity of Da Bomb Beyond Insanity sauce on “Hot Ones” hosted by Sean Evans, and the “Full House” alum joked that the sauce killed his late costar Bob Saget.
“This is what killed Saget,” Stamos joked after struggling through the eighth sauce in the gauntlet. “He would do that joke if he was alive to me. He wouldn’t have waited a year and a half either. He would say the worst things.”
Saget died January 2022 of severe blunt head trauma from a fall in a Florida hotel room, though the exact circumstances of his death were never fully made public after his family won the right to keep autopsy details under seal.
Stamos recalled several memories with his “Full House” costar, including a trip to a strip club with the trio of guys — including Dave Coulier, who played Joey — where they were announced immediately upon entering the establishment.

Stamos recalled several memories with his “Full House” costar, including a trip to a strip club with the trio of guys — including Dave Coulier, who played Joey — where they were announced immediately upon entering the establishment.

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen joined the cast of Full House when they were less than a year old, but the twins’ behaviour led to star John Stamos demanding they be fired. That’s a little harsh there, Stamos.
While speaking on the Good Guys podcast, John Stamos revealed that the Olsen Twins just wouldn’t stop crying on the set, which drove him crazy. The actor described filming a scene where his character and Dave Coulier’s character had to change Michelle’s diaper. “We’re doing the scene. Joey and I were changing the baby, right? And Danny [Bob Saget] is gone and said, ‘Take care of the kids.’ ‘Yeah, we got it. We got it,’” Stamos said. “So, we’re carrying the baby downstairs and we take her in the kitchen and we hose her down. And she was screaming. Both of them. John Stamos revealed on the “Good Guys” podcast (via Insider) that he had Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen booted from “Full House” when they were 11 months old as their persistent crying on set drove him crazy. The firing only lasted a couple of days, as the replacement babies for the Olsen twins proved even worse to be around. Stamos, who played Jesse Katsopolis on all eight seasons of “Full House,” was filming a scene where his character and Dave Coulier’s Joey change Michelle Tanner’s diaper. The Olsen twins switched off playing Michelle during the show’s run.
“We’re doing the scene. Joey and I were changing the baby, right? And Danny [Bob Saget] is gone and said, ‘Take care of the kids.’ ‘Yeah, we got it. We got it,'” Stamos said. “So, we’re carrying the baby downstairs and we take her in the kitchen and we hose her down.

In the early days of “Full House”, John Stamos got Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen fired, temporarily of course.
The Olsen twins, now 36, both starred as the adorable Michelle Tanner on the beloved sitcom, beginning at 11-months-old when the show began filming. They took turns playing Jesse Katsopolis’ (Stamos) niece up until the age of seven when the finale aired back in May 1995 after an eight-season run.
While appearing on the latest episode of Dear Media’s “Good Guys” podcast, Stamos explained that he unintentionally got the then-toddlers fired.

Full House was one of the most beloved sitcoms of the late 1980s/early 1990s. The series centered around Danny Tanner (Bob Saget), a recent widower who enlists the help of his best friend Joey Gladstone (Dave Coulier), and brother-in-law Jesse Katsopolis (John Stamos) to raise his three young daughters. The oldest sister D.J. was played by Candace Cameron Bure, and Jodie Sweetin portrayed the middle daughter Stephanie.
A reboot of the classic sitcom, Fuller House, premiered on Netflix in 2016 but this time revolved around the two girls, along with their friend Kimmy Gibbler (Andrea Barber). Not only were the characters the best of friends, but so were the actors.

Bob Saget’s Wife Kelly Rizzo And ‘Full House’ Co-Stars Remember Comedian On Anniversary Of His Death
Kelly Rizzo penned a touching tribute to her late husband, Bob Saget, on Monday, honoring the first anniversary of the Full House star’s death. Several of Saget’s friends and former co-stars also chimed in with remembrances.
“One Year. Our hearts are so heavy,” Rizzo wrote. “How could I not have talked to or seen my loving husband in a whole year? The surreal-ness never subsides. I’ve accepted the reality long ago but it still seems unreal when I see photos or videos of him so full of life.”
Rizzo paired her caption with a montage of photos and videos of her and Saget together, often on vacation, exchanging hugs and kisses. The song “The Luckiest” by Ben Folds, was one of Saget’s favorites, according to Rizzo.

One year ago, Bob Saget died at the age of 65. At the time, tributes poured in, from fellow Hollywood actors and comedians alike to his Full House castmates, who worked alongside him for nearly a decade. On the anniversary of his death, members of that same crew of individuals — including Candace Cameron Bure, Jodie Sweetin, and Dave Coulier – are reflecting on the loss that continues to resonate.

Kelly Rizzo, the widow of “Full House” star and comedian Bob Saget, marked the one-year anniversary of his death by taking to Twitter to ask owner Elon Musk to reinstate a verified check mark on Saget’s account. Saget’s Twitter account still boasts 2.2 million followers. The page has not been active since Saget’s passing last January and lost its verified check mark sometime in the last year.
“Hi, Elon Musk – today on the one year anniversary of Bob’s passing, I saw he’s no longer verified?” Rizzo wrote on her own Twitter account. “My husband truly loved Twitter. Out of respect for his legacy, can something be done? Thank you kindly (friends, please help).”

Jodie Sweetin still has hope for another “Full House” reboot.
It appears the actress doesn’t want to say goodbye to her classic TV character, Stephanie Tanner, just yet as she recently shared an idea for a “Fuller House” reboot, despite the beloved comedy only having ended two years ago.
The 2016 sequel series saw Sweetin and her fellow co-stars from the original sitcom “Full House”, which ran from 1987 to 1995, reunite for the reboot where she reprised her role as the Tanner Family’s middle daughter.

Corny characters are nothing new to television. In fact, our favorite shows have always featured people with exaggerated behaviors and trite one-liners. Corny characters make us laugh, they make us groan, and they epitomize the best and worst aspects of TV storytelling.
We decided it would be a blast to put on our corny caps, and figure out which sappy figures have the most memorable throughout history. Corny has a large variety of interpretations and definitions. Just because these characters are on this list, it doesn’t mean they’re not well-written or acted. It just means they’ve come to symbolize specific aspects of what makes television often outlandish.

In earlier sitcom eras, the stage personas of seasoned real-world stand-up comics made for reliable main characters, but rarely were they actually performing jokes professionally onstage. Only later would supporting characters dip into the standup arena — think “Full House’s” Dave Coulier or “Facts of Life’s” Geri Jewell — until finally Jerry Seinfeld and Garry Shandling took their funnymen and, to varying degrees, their craft, center stage on “Seinfeld” and “The Larry Sanders Show.”
Today, however, two widely admired, multi-Emmy-nominated comedies — “Hacks,” set in contemporary times, and “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel,” at the midcentury dawn of a new style of comedy — are taking deep, hyper-detailed and subtly nuanced dives into the stand- up world, both looking uniquely thorough a female lens.
Ironically, both series are headlined by actors known for their stage, film and TV work without any stand-up background — Jean Smart as Deborah Vance on “Hacks,” Rachel Brosnahan as...

Dave Coulier was in the television shows Full House and Fuller House. He also knows what house he was in with singer Alanis Morissette – the doghouse.
Coulier talked earlier this week about the scathing lyrics of Morissette’s major hit “You Oughta Know,” which told of her heartbreak caused by a breakup with a former lover after a two-year relationship. The song was part of the 10-million plus selling Jagged Little Pill, and spawned the biggest music industry speculation since Carly Simon’s “You’re So Vain.”
He was driving in Detroit when he first heard the song on the radio, Coulier said on SiriusXM Faction Talk. Coulier says he was really enjoying the song before his “Hey, wait a minute” moment, when he recognized the singer’s voice. “Ooh, oh no! Oh, I can’t be this guy!” he claims he thought.
Coulier raced to a record store and bought the album.
