- Scott McCann was born in Independence, Missouri. He attended Shawnee Mission West High School, from which he graduated in 1997. While in high school, Scott developed an interest in acting. He graduated from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts-West in Los Angeles in 1999. Scott first performed stand-up at the HaHa Comedy Club in North Hollywood, California. In 2005, Scott moved back to Kansas City to co-host the Merrill in the Morning radio show on Lazer 105.9 in Lawrence, Kansas. - Scott McCann is a Kansas City native, who grew up with a passion for making others laugh. Upon high school graduation, Scott moved to Los Angeles to attend The American Academy of Dramatic Arts and pursue acting. After graduating at the top of his class, he starred in over twenty films and hosted the late night television show, After Curfew.
He furthered his career in entertainment by co-hosting the popular morning radio show, Merrill in the Morning, and performed at major comedy venues across the country.
