It's the end of an era.
Hawaii Five-0 Season 10 Episode 22 serves as the series finale of the iconic CBS series, and while many fans may not be ready to say goodbye, it looks like the series is going out in style.
Appropriately titled "Aloha," the milestone episode finds Danny worse for wear after being abducted and left for dead.
Would CBS really allow the series to conclude with Danny dying? It would be quite the twist, but this is the series finale.
What we do know is that recurring cast members James Marsters (Victor Hesse), William Sadler (John McGarrett), and Mark Dacascos (Wo Fat) return during the goodbye episode.
Many fans have been worried that the series will not get a conclusive goodbye because of how late the decision to end the series came.
But it's hard to imagine a 10-year-old series wrapping without a big farewell planned.
Here's the official press release from CBS.

It's the end of the line for CBS drama Hawaii Five-0.
With the series finale inching closer, the network has dropped an emotional promo for the final episode, which is currently slated to air Friday, April 3 at 9/8c.
It shows everything you've come to expect from the show, but there's no telling how things will shake out in the final chapter.
Originally, we were supposed to get a two-hour farewell, but thanks to the Coronavirus pandemic, CBS opted to split the finale up.
The network shared the following statement announcing returning cast members, as well as what to expect in the plot department.

Director: Duane Clark. Writers: Cameron Porsandeh, Ronald D. Moore and Misha Green. Cast: Billy Campbell, Hiroyuki Sanada, Kyra Zagorsky and Mark Ghanimé. The SyFy Channel continues its sci-fi and horror series "Helix" with "The White Room." This fourty minute episode brought more intrigue as the villains continue to hide behind lies and misdirections. A research team also continues to be distracted as an infection riddles a remote science station. The pacing in this episode was a little more up-tempo and there were several more plot points explored here. "The White Room" was one of the better episodes for the series and horror elements were more present in Epis. 5. This showing began with the torching of a group of frozen monkeys. Events continued into the realm of strangeness, with the character and station director Hatake (Hiroyuki Sanada) wounding himself. Why is he so anxious to hurt himself, when so many other dangers abound?...

Helix, Season 1, Episode 05: “The White Room”
Written by Misha Green
Directed by Duane Clark
Airs Fridays at 10 Pm on Syfy
With the paranoia of the facility’s doctors increasing last week, and all communication cut off from the rest of the world, the situation in the facility continued its downward spiral last week. With the loss of Doreen, as well as Dr. Walker, the Cdc team didn’t end Day 4 in good shape either. This week’s episode puts Sergio and Daniel in direct conflict over Sergio’s latest objective, in another compelling episode that reveals more about the facility, as well as providing different perspectives on the effects of the virus.
Watching the progression of the disease from multiple aspects is a fascinating part of this episode. Observing Dr. Walker, Dr. Van Eigem, and Peter Farragut, all of whom are sick to varying degrees, does a...

*there are spoilers here. Director: Duane Clark. Writers: Cameron Porsandeh and Javier Grillo-Marxuach. Cast: Billy Campbell, Hiroyuki Sanada, Kyra Zagorsky, Mark Ghanimé and Jordan Hayes. "Single Strand" is Epis. 4 of a 13 season run. This episode, directed by Duane Clark, seemed to shift down several gears as "Single Strand" brought out more characterizations. The science fiction and horror elements are secondary, to a growing dramatic element. As well, plot points were reduced to one major inconvenience, which was predictably solved by the end of the episode. The mystery of the show is no longer a compelling reason to watch and "Helix" will need a lot more excitement to keep this viewer watching. In this episode, there were a series of character reveals. Dr. Jordan (Jordan Hayes) is struggling with a tumour, which might be localized in her brain. She is experiencing hand tremors and slurred speech. Meanwhile, Dr. Walker (Kyra Zagorsky...

With the virus outbreak in the facility entering its fourth day, and Dr. Walker now clearly infected and in quarantine, the situation was on a downward spiral at the end of last week’s episode. The lack of communication that Sergio causes, and the lack of reliability of the rapid response tests only added to the complications. This week reveals more facets about some of the established characters, in a strong episode that opens up some more questions, even as it provides answers.
Julia’s initials and handwriting being found in the facility adds a curious wrinkle to the story of her involvement with Dr. Hatake. While his pursuit of her has been visible in past episodes, the presence...
