Was a seasoned veteran, from the late '60s to the late '80s, of several daytime soap operas including "The Edge of Night," "The Secret Storm," "Search for Tomorrow", "Love of Life," "As the World Turns," "One Life to Live" and "Ryan's Hope".
Served in the U.S. Army before heading to New York and making his
off-Broadway debut as a replacement for El Gallo in the musical "The
Fantasticks".
Performed opposite Lauren Bacall in the 1970s Broadway musical "Applause" and was featured in the revival of "The Threepenny Opera" in 1977.
