Blue Bloods stars Donnie Wahlberg and Bridget Moynahan are saying a sad farewell to the CBS drama series. In an appearance Tuesday on The Drew Barrymore Show, Wahlberg and Moynahan shared a clip from the 14th and final season, which is currently airing, that features the Reagans at their weekly Sunday dinner.
Barrymore asked the two how they’re feeling as the end approaches. “I think everybody’s really upset and sad, but also happy and satiated?,” she questioned.
“More upset and sad,” Wahlberg said.
Responding to co-host Ross Mathews when asked what it feels like saying goodbye to the characters, Moynahan explained, “I think it’s more saying goodbye to the people behind the characters. We’ve created such a family on set with each other and the crew — most of the crew’s been with us for 14 years, so we’ve been through a lot of weddings, births,...

Past events can fuel present problems, as the Reagans' latest cases taught them anew.
Written by co-executive producer Siobhan Byrne O'Connor, Friday's (Jan. 17) episode of CBS' "Blue Bloods," "Unfinished Business," set Danny (Donnie Wahlberg) and Maria (Marisa Ramirez) on the trail of Army veteran John Russelll (guest star Chad Michael Collins), who had assaulted his wife, Maryann (guest star Kelli Barrett), and taken their son Tommy (guest star Michael Capperella) from his school.
The Army, as represented by Maj. Harrison (guest star Terry Serpico), wasn't happy that Danny had started an investigation without clearing it with him first. A struggle over jurisdiction began, with Marine veteran Danny noting, "I understand protocol. I just don't like following it."
During a press conference on a weapons-selling bust, Frank (Tom Selleck) was confronted by Betty Lowe (guest star Karen Allen), who asked him "why I can't get justice for my daughter. And her killer is out there,...

Dining out can be dangerous.
So Frank (Tom Selleck) discovered after having dinner with Angelo Gallo (guest star Chazz Palminteri) -- a boyhood friend who happened to be a Mob lawyer -- in Friday's (Nov. 15) "Blue Bloods" episode "Justice Served," written by series co-executive producer Siobhan Byrne O'Connor. The men left the restaurant jovially, but right after Frank's car pulled away, the attorney was felled by two bullets to the back.
Danny (Donnie Wahlberg) was getting a taste of another side of the law by serving jury duty. Young defendant Deshawn Williams (J. Mallory-McCree) was on trial for the murder of a deli cashier, and when the jurors went into deliberation, only one held out for a "not guilty" verdict. Guess who?
Eddie (Vanessa Ray) was excited about a date with commodities trader Jake (Jason Ralph), and when Jamie (Will Estes) playfully asked if he knew she was a cop,...

Usually, it's the cops in the Reagan family who are in the line of fire. They weren't the only ones this time.
Prosecutor Erin (Bridget Moynahan) ended up imperiled in Friday's (Oct. 11) CBS episode of "Blue Bloods." Written by series co-executive producer Siobhan Byrne O'Connor, "To Protect and Serve" set the danger somewhere it wouldn't be expected -- a courtroom.
The hour began with Danny (Donnie Wahlberg) and Maria (Marisa Ramirez) investigating a broad-daylight murder, with the only witness the victim's young son Michael (a very natural, wrenching performance by Jake Miller, playing off a commendably sensitive Wahlberg). Asked if he had relatives he could stay with, the boy said, "My mom. But I don't want to go home just yet. I just want to stay with him [the slain father]."
Then it was off to court, where Erin ran into her fellow-lawyer ex Jack (Peter Hermann, the real-life husband of Mariska Hargitay...
