If ever there was a movie you could not blame for false advertising, it would be Weird Kidz. Having just finished this feature-length animation about… Well… Christ knows what it is really about but I will persevere and try to break down this South Park-esque hand-drawn slightly horror but mostly Big Mouth-y comedy coming-of-age story.
Before we do get into this though, a quick word on the hand-drawn aspect. I thought this really cool, especially considering it is rare to find an animated film these days that isn’t Disney, Illumination or the like. It’s always nice to see a group of creators willing to look backwards in the art. I mean that with all respect because it put this viewer in mind of the old-school animated flicks...

Back in 2012, Bloody Disgusting acquired Lucky McKee’s critically acclaimed The Woman after a firestorm of controversy that began at the Sundance Film Festival with a woman allegedly passing out in shock and this man losing his cool over the startling and uncomfortable content.

Now, the film is coming back to us via Arrow Films and is now streaming on our very own Screambox alongside the film’s prequel, Offspring, both featuring a standout performance by Pollyanna McIntosh.

After telling a lush love story with “Call Me by Your Name,” filmmaker Luca Guadagnino combines that sensibility with his more horror-leaning style from “Suspiria” in his new film “Bones and All,” which tackles the uncomfortable theme of cannibalism. Written by David Kajganich, the R-rated feature film contains sexual content, bloody violent content and brief graphic nudity. The two-plus hour runtime chronicles a story between two young people who take a journey of self discovery together — and who are also cannibals.
Timothée Chalamet and Taylor Russell star in this story of young love between people ostracized by society. The mix of horror and romance combine to tell a haunting tale of guts, gore and glory.
Fans of Timothée Chalamet may be wondering how to watch “Bones and All.” All your questions answered below.

Deadwood Creator David Milch Says It's A Waste Of Time To Feel 'Betrayed' By The Show's Cancellation
Here's a challenge. Read a random "TV shows canceled too soon" listicle floating around the internet. A series that will be on every single one (at least any that was written with a little bit of taste) is "Deadwood," HBO's gone-too-soon western.
The series ran a respectable three seasons (36 episodes) on HBO from 2004 to 2006, but ended inconclusively. The cast and crew also had more to tell. While everyone eventually got the chance to conclude the story with a two-hour wrap-up movie in 2019, "Deadwood: The Movie" was an epilogue, not a full new season of material.
Set in the eponymous South Dakota town during the 1870s, "Deadwood" was Shakespearean — literally, for most of the dialogue was written in iambic pentameter (and bounced from tragedy to farce just like the Bard's work did). The show was fairly faithful (but not bound) to history, with real men as the two leads: lawman Seth...

The NBC limited series The Thing About Pam, starring Renée Zellweger, concluded its run on Tuesday, April 13, but has clearly made its mark for the network as its top-rated new series of the 2021-2022 season.
The show centers on the 2011 murder of State Farm employee Betsy Faria, which resulted in her husband Russ’s conviction, although he insisted he didn’t kill her and was later exonerated. This brutal crime set off a chain of events that would expose a diabolical scheme deeply involving Pam Hupp (Zellweger).
The series premiered in March and its opening episode performed decently with a 0.4 rating in the 18-49 demo and 2.79 million viewers. Since then, the episode jumped up to a 4.24 in the demo and tallied 14 million viewers – a 5x audience increase – across live, delayed and digital viewing, according to the network. The company also said that the pilot marked NBC’s best digital launch ever.

Exclusive: Deadline has the first pair of exclusive tracks from Sonya Belousova and Giona Ostinelli’s score for The Thing About Pam, which is set for release via Milan Records on April 15, following the airing of the NBC true-crime ratings hit’s finale.
The Blumhouse Television-produced limited series centers on the 2011 murder of State Farm employee Betsy Faria (Katy Mixon), which resulted in her husband Russ’s (Glenn Fleshler) conviction, although he insisted he didn’t kill her and was later exonerated. This brutal crime set off a chain of events that would expose a diabolical scheme deeply involving Faria’s supposed friend, Pam Hupp (Renée Zellweger).
From Belousova and Ostinelli’s perspective, Pam is someone who “tromps through town like a predatory larger-than-life force that will crush anything that comes her way.”

No matter how much work he does, how many roles he takes on, and what kind of character he plays on television or in the movies, Sean Bridgers is always going to be immediately recognized first and foremost for his role as Eldon in Reese Witherspoon’s Sweet Home Alabama. George Hearst might not be the worst villain ever played by actor Gerald McRaney, but he’s near the top of that list. The real-life wealthy miner and businessman character joined the series “Deadwood” for its third and final season 13 years ago as the main antagonist to the town. And now McRaney has returned for “Deadwood: The Movie” as a U.S. Senator still up to his murderous, devious ways.
For our recent interview (watch the exclusive video above), McRaney claims that most villains don’t think they are evil. He says, “One of the most important things that separates drama from melodrama is that if you’re tasked with playing a villain, you can’t play him villianously. You have to find all the things that justify all the things he’s doing and concentrate on that. Eliminate all of the stuff that might look evil and play the actions.

When HBO abruptly canceled Deadwood in 2006, a few weeks after production had wrapped on the sereis’ third season, no one in the cast or crew got to say a proper goodbye to each other, or the experience. For W. Earl Brown, who played Al Swearengen’s top henchman Dan Dority, that was unacceptable. Several months later, he convinced co-star Sean Bridgers (Johnny Burns) to meet him at Melody Ranch, where the show had filmed — and where many of their former colleagues were now working on creator David Milch’s ill-fated follow-up,...

Thirteen years after “Deadwood” ended abruptly on HBO, Timothy Olyphant returns with guns blazing as Seth Bullock, former sheriff and now a U.S. Marshal. The film version, titled “Deadwood: The Movie,” premieres on May 31 (just in time for 2019 Emmy contention) and picks ups in 1889 as the small western town celebrates entrance into the new 40th state of South Dakota. The two-hour project is written by the original show’s creator David Milch and directed by Daniel Minahan.
Spoilers Below For This Movie:
In our recent interview (watch the video above), Olyphant describes his return as the tough but mostly law-abiding lawman. He says, “David Milch is a genius. He’s one of the smartest people I’ve ever had the pleasure of being around. Not that I’ve spent too much time hanging out with geniuses, but my understanding is that not too many of them have had the life experiences that [he] has had.

Exclusive: Isaac Keys has been promoted to series regular and Michaela Watkins (Casual) and Seychelle Gabriel (Sleepy Hollow) have been tapped for recurring roles on the upcoming third season of Epix’s Get Shorty, from MGM Television. Production is underway in Vancouver for premiere this fall on Epix.
Key has recurred as Ed since the first season of the series, starring Chris O’Dowd and Ray Romano, appearing in a total of 18 episodes. Ed is Amara’s (Lidia Porto) bodyguard and a top lieutenant in her gang. He’s intimidating and built like a linebacker, but is intelligent and has a quiet confidence and dignity about him. Ed may not seem important, but he is perhaps the person Amara trusts most.
Get Shorty is based in part on Elmore Leonard’s 1990 bestselling novel — which also spawned Barry Sonnenfeld’s 1995 feature — and created for television by Davey Holmes. The series follows Miles Daly (O’Dowd), muscle for a Nevada crime ring who tries to become a movie producer in Hollywood with the help of a washed-up producer, Rick Moreweather (Romano), as a means to leave his criminal past behind.
In season two, Miles (O’Dowd) struggled to reconcile his ambitions as a filmmaker and a family man with his skill set as a career criminal. His progress in Hollywood is jeopardized when his washed-up producing partner Rick (Romano) agrees to wear a federal wire and begins a romantic relationship with dangerous crime boss Amara De Escalones (Porto).
Season three finds Miles embracing more ruthless methods as he settles scores in an attempt to continue climbing the Hollywood ladder.
Cast also includes series regulars Sean Bridgers, Carolyn Dodd, Goya Robles and Megan Stevenson. Steven Weber and Sarah Stiles are recurring guest stars.
Get Shorty season three is executive produced by Holmes and Adam Arkin. The series is produced by MGM Television and internationally distributed by MGM.
Keys is repped by Apa, Infinity Entertainment, and Ginsburg Daniels.

"It'd be a pity not to recognize what's at stake." HBO has released a full official trailer for their upcoming Deadwood movie, which is using the title Deadwood: The Movie. Based on the hit western TV series that originally premiered in 2004, this Deadwood movie continues where that left off and follows many of the same characters from the gold-mining camp of Deadwood. Ian McShane stars as Al Swearengen, with Timothy Olyphant, and a cast featuring John Hawkes, Molly Parker, Brad Dourif, Kim Dickens, Sean Bridgers, Robin Weigert, Anna Gunn, Jeffrey Jones, Paula Malcomson, and Tony Curran. This looks pretty dang good, but also seem to be mostly for the fans than anyone else. This trailer goes back and forth between arguing and then shooting, lots & lots of shooting. Just like it was in the old west, right? Here's the second official trailer for Daniel Minahan's Deadwood movie, direct from...

Welcome back to Deadwood. HBO has dropped the trailer for the upcoming “Deadwood” reunion movie — just in time for the 15th anniversary of the David Milch-created series debut — and by the looks of things, Ian McShane’s Al Swearengen is coming back with a whole new mess of problems.
In the two-hour film — officially titled “Deadwood: The Movie” — the indelible characters of the show are reunited after a decade to celebrate South Dakota’s statehood. Former rivalries are reignited, alliances are tested and old wounds reopened as all are left to navigate the inevitable changes that modernity and time have wrought.

With a title like The Man Who Killed Hitler And Then The Bigfoot, people going to see this movie will probably be expecting something very strange. And that’s kind of what you get but in a different way than you might think.
I will say it immediately, this is not a ridiculous B-movie that the title may suggest. It has one moment or scene in particular that goes down that route but that is it. This is much more serious than I expected and a good chunk of the movie is spent focusing on a love story between the ‘man’, Calvin Barr (played by Aidan Turner in his younger years and Sam Elliott in his later life). Al Swearengen is f—in’ back. HBO released the first trailer for “Deadwood: The Movie” on Thursday, which was also the 15th anniversary of the series premiere of “Deadwood.”
The teaser (watch above) doesn’t give too much away from the film, which is scheduled to premiere Friday, May 31 at 8/7c, aka the final day of Emmy eligibility, but it’s so nice to see those faces and ‘staches again. Set in 1889, the film follows Al Swearengen (Ian McShane) & Co. as they reunite after a decade to celebrate South Dakota’s statehood. Needless to say, things don’t go too smoothly. Per HBO, “former rivalries are reignited, alliances are tested and old wounds reopened as all are left to navigate the inevitable changes that modernity and time have wrought.”
“You ever think, Bullock, of not going straight at a thing,” Al asks in the clip.
“No,” Bullock (Timothy Olyphant) deadpans.

The man who did what and then what? Robert D. Krzykowski’s first feature isn’t a throwaway joke, but an elegantly crafted and designed fantasy grounded in human values. Sam Elliott’s crusty sixty-something secret agent comes out of retirement to save the world again — will the slaying of another bizarre horror lay to rest disturbing memories of a secret WW2 mission? This thing will be a pleasant discovery for those in pursuit of ‘something completely different.’ The intentionally awkward title is jarring, but it fits because I’ve never seen anything quite like this before.

"I never wanted that. Even if he had it coming... And he did." Rlje Entertainment has debuted the official trailer for an indie film titled The Man Who Killed Hitler and Then The Bigfoot, which is one of the best titles for a film in the last few years. The small cast of the film includes Aidan Turner, Ron Livingston, Sean Bridgers. Caitlin FitzGerald, Larry Miller, Ellar Coltrane, and Mark Steger as The Bigfoot. Fs is...
